by 10sfan on Mon Nov 17 08:16:24 PST 2008
I have had both my MDX and my RL serviced at a Honda dealerships for the same reason. Have had warranty work on the RL no problems incurred because of the service at a Honda dealership. Agree on the transmission fluid only use Honda that also applies to using only Honda brake fluid.

Received a lease quote on a 09 TL base , 3 yr/36K at $479.00 mo + Tax with $1,000.00 due at signing. Will be meeting with a few dealers in the area to secure the MSRP, Residual and Money Factor to fine tune this quote. If they continue to stack up in their lots as with all car dealerships right now, the lease price may become acceptable.
Re: 2005 Acura MDX Transmission Issue/Rough Downshift [jkotlar]

I have not experienced this problem with my 2005 MDX, but am concerned as the vehicle will be out of warranty within 7 months. May I ask how many miles you currently have on you vehicle. I would let the dealership know that you do not live around the corner and this traveling is an inconvenience.

Happened to see a new 2008 TL Base at a No. Il dealership sell for 27,105.00 two weeks ago. So would agree this is the best pricing I have seen, but stock is running low on the 2008 TL base models due to the pricing.
Re: Lease rates better? [bvdj84]

I have a similar delima, but based on the past 6 years of owning Acura's and using both Honda and Acura dealerships, (several in my area) Acura customer service and overall treatment from start to finish is better. Loaner vehicles are never a problem and your TSX has 12k miles and 1yr longer on the warranty.
Re: Worth to wait for new promotion [alwaysarookie]
by 10sfan on Wed Nov 05 09:30:54 PST 2008
Awaiting Nov or Dec lease promotions on either the A4, TL or ES as October sales were almost 30% down. Have received approximate numbers for three individual dealers, but have not sat down and negotiated the final numbers. Have ample time and patience. Just want to make the best decision as I will have to live with this vehicle for three years. Any information you with to share with me directly on the reason for going with the ES 350 is appreciated.
