I heard a lot of talk of upgrading the handling performance on other forums, ie springs and roll bars. I would like to do the same. I know that eibach will be coming out with their "roll bar kit", soon. They state a 25mm front bar and a 19 to 22mm rear bar. Question, for those who have a 300C SRT-8: If you could do me a favor and look and measure your rear sway bar. What size is it? Is the Eibach kit bigger than that of the SRT 8? What are the advantages of the 22mm over the 19mm, other than supressing more roll. Will it cause the rear end to be more "anxious" to oversteer. Thanks Emergency1

Suspension upgrade: by emergency1 on Fri Jan 31 17:51:54 PST 2003; Hi guys, this is my first time to post messages, so please bear with me. My wife has a 2002 Chrysler T&C Limited minivan, front wheel drive, with the REGULAR duty and self leveling suspension. Good, bad, or ugly, I would like to replace it with Chrysler`s TOURING duty with the self leveling suspension. The TOURING suspension was offered in the T&C LXi, but not the Limited. I asked my 5 star dealer and they said that it wasn`t a problem with Mopar parts, BUT they couldn`t tell which was the touring suspension by just looking at the part numbers. They needed a VIN number to order the correct parts. You can now see my problem, my VIN will only come back as the regular duty, and the 2002 Grand Caravan ES or T&C LXi, which both were offered in the TOURING suspension, are very hard to find on the dealer`s lots to obtain a proper VIN number. And to stop someone on the street that has the touring susp and requesting to disclose their VIN, I think would be very personal and improper. So question, can anybody, owners or any salesman on this board, tell me how I can obtain this info, or at least direct me on how Chrysler codes their replacement parts.   Thanks, for your time and effort.

350 4-speed: by mfahey1 on Fri Apr 06 17:23:36 PDT 2001; If my admittedly faulty memory serves me, the SS model which was a 350 4 barrel, 300 hp, cost an extra $300 which was nearly 10% of the price of the car and also took premium gas. Remember, I said we were broke and just out of school. I still have the original invoice that shows the car only cost us, are you ready for this, $3550. Since the block hass only two bolt mains, I figured the best course was to keep it all stock. Out of curiosity, where are you in St. Louis? I grew up in Webster Groves and my wife and I lived in Des Peres after college when I worked for Anheuser-Busch.
