Aveo - bad GM warranty??

I emailed GM customer service, and they were purposefully vague and avoided the question all together. I called the customer service number 4 times, the first time, it was hung up. The second time, the woman refused to give me her name, but stayed purposedly vague, and say she can't tell, and it is up to the dealership. The third time, I talked to a man, who couldn't answer me. He transfered me to a supervisor, Glen Kuniyuki, who told me that I have to speak to "marketing support". He said he was not the right department to discuss such issue. He said that he can't tell me if GM will fix the problem if it were within 100K and if I had done everything right with maintenance. It seems like GM really doesn't want to put any backing to their 5yr/100K warranty when you ask them a black and white question. I guess it is the chase after the mythical "Lifetime warranty". The closer you get to this "life time", the less likely you are going to get a definite answer on anything. I guess if you are wise, you'd replace the belt at 60K, at 90K, and every 30K afterward. This belt can not be made to last. It seems like it is not a problem with the belt, and it is an engineering problem with the engine. Most likely, this engine will not last more than 120K..... If someone has an aveo that lasted more, please let us know.

Hello Cathy, From Dec 24th to Dec 31st I was looking at a Corolla. It (they) were CE's w/power package and floor mats. The lowest price I found was 12,899. The dealer in my area was 12,999. The colors available were white, tan, silver, black -if I remember. Glen in California. The prices above are after rebate.

which one is easier to apply---is Pinnacle harder to remove--does it leave white residue in the seams like regular wax----Is Pinnacle a wax or a polymer---I wonder if it would be as durable as Zaino---

By both whites I was saying the had the Pearl and the plain white.

Black, Deepwater Blue, Cherry Red and both Whites. And yes they have 08's It is Ourisman Hyundai in Laurel MD.

I ordered my Enclave on 4/7 and was told to expect delivery around first week of june. I changed color on order from white diamond to cocoa metallic on 4/18, my dealer said it wouldn't delay the order since a production date hadn't been assigned yet. That was incorrect info. It turns out that the change caused my order to drop back to the beginning of the cycle. My car wasn't built until 7/18 and delivered to the dealer 7/24. I was told along the way that there is such demand for these that the factory can't keep up. I have only seen 3 or 4 on the road.Also I was delayed by the 2 week 7/4 holiday shutdown. I've had the vehicle 2 plus weeks now, it was worth waiting for. I have the AWD CXL, rear bucket delete,sunroof,chrome wheels, trailer hitch, entertainment #1. Received a great price from my dealer in Watkins Glen NY
