It is not difficult at all, but my suggestion would be very simple. Take it to a dealer and let the service rep come out and show you...no charge. Or take it to a JiffyLube place where they know the same thing. Compared to the Audi A6 which required removal of the airconditioner brackets, the Murano is 30 seconds...have somebody show you. Don't fight it.

Contrary to the opinions of those who contend that unions drive labor costs up and make U.S. industry uncompetitive, unions appear virtually blameless (6%) in the Pew survey of who’s to blame. Indeed, people see unions closer to the solution. A Gallup survey of adults in August 2007 found 60% approval of labor unions and only 32% disapproval, and that Americans want unions to have more influence (35%), not less (28%). An older survey by Gallup in August 2005 revealed that “in labor disputes,” people’s sympathies tend to be “on the side of unions” (52%) not “on the side of the companies” (34%). More recent polling of adults by Peter Hart for the AFL-CIO in December 2006 revealed that people want to join unions: 53% of non-union, non-managerial workers would vote to join a union if they could; 42% would not. People recognize collective action as the natural counterbalance to big business, and they support labor law reform that will result in more workers being able to bargain with their employers for better wages, benefits and working conditions.

Party unity is always a sham to get through the election cycle. There's probably more internecine hate within each of the two parties than across the aisle. I think Bill is done except for special roles, like his joint committee work with Bush I. Kitchen cabinet stuff, sure. Edwards is done for this election cycle. Too many other good candidates for the supporting roles to mess with trying to confirm him. May as try to rehabilitate Eliot Spitzer. Maybe he can find a Global Warming kind of avocation to try to stay relevant; otherwise he's been Gary Harted out of here.

I posted on tires earlier on, and as I am pushing 70, and am an ER surgeon, I have driven a few miles and bought a lot of tires over the years. Tire wear depends on 1.brand 2.rubber hardness 3.radial or bias belt 4.drive mode (front wheel or rear or AWD) 5.driver habits 6.rotate @ 7,500or so, 7.vehicle weight AND MOST IMPORTANT, 8. the KIND OF ROADS you drive. Several reliable posters (such as above) as well as personal friends have reported 60K on MO Goodyears, whereas I got 38 on same tires. I drive rough asphalt on winding, very curvy mountain roads. Rarely does my MO 05 see straight-ahead long hauls. I am in expensive Michelins now, and believe they will go 40K or more, as they are harder rubber...all else same as orig equip Goodyears. I would think you could keep the 2 "good" tires as long as you have them opposite one another, i.e., both on either front or back, with 2 new ones also opposite. Since all rotations these days are just front to back, this should be fine. It does bother me that only 2 wore out, and frankly it makes me wonder if your tires really got rotated...especially if you were to say the bald tires were on the front, where 80% of MO wear occurs. Generally speaking however, it is best to replace all four when the time comes...since nearly always, the wear on all four is identical.
