MORE ON NISSAN QUEST 2008 PRICE IN SOUTHERN CA
by kulunphan818 on Tue Sep 02 15:00:59 PDT 2008
Before I purchased my recent 2008 Quest SE (see above post), I sent three other Request For Quote to three other dealers, 1 is Universal Studio Nissan (Studio City), 1 is in Thousand Oak City, and another one in El Monte (near downtown.) Two responded with two offers: Studio dealer offers a SE (no Navig. and no DVD) with a total discount (including $3,500 rebate from Nissan) of $8795 (MRSP $36,595); the Thousand Oak offers a SE with a total discount of $7684 from the MSRP of $38720 (with Dual DVD). So based on the offers from the other two dealers, I thought the discount I got ($10,200) from the dealer (Keyes Nissan in Woodland Hills) I purchased the van from was relatively not bad at all. But I just want to echo the opinion from another poster, that Southern California (or maybe the whole state of California) consumers do not get the $12,000 or more discounts like those from Kentucky or midwest states.
Re: Legacy Leases [tjones39]

Okay I just Leased a new 2008 Legacy special edition that has the sunroof and automattic transmission. A beautiful Pearl White color with tan interior, this car is way nicer and drives better than the oh so boring Toyota Camry. Still nicer than the Altima, Mazda 6 and Malibu also. Here is the smokin lease deal my wife and I received. First the Advertised price was $159 month $999 out of pocket total, 10k miles for 24 months. However with the miles we drive and at .15c per mile over I asked for 12k and 15k mile. The 12k was $168.78 and 15k miles was $178.72 all this with $999 total money our of pocket. Subaru must be subsidizing these well right now for the total msrp and what the other competitors are currently leasing for my guess is this car is about $75+ under per month right now. We bought in Los Angeles Sherman Oaks Subaru but they matched the Puente Hills Subaru special lease on this for me since they had the only pearl white car in all of So. Cal right now.
excellent prices in socal for 08 es 350
by ajtlaa on Sat May 03 06:32:16 PDT 2008
was shopping over two weekends for a base non-navi es with premium package. spoke with every dealer in southern cal. and i mean every dealership- from as far west as oxnard, to as far east as palm springs, to as far south as carlsbad. this past weekend (4 days before the end of the month), i was offered $700 to $1,000 below invoice for pretty much any es 350 at 4 different dealerships: - lexus santa monica - keyes lexus in van nuys - tustin lexus - crown lexus in ontario i was still offered the same pricing even on the 1st of may. these non-navi models are rare because lexus cut production on them and are mainly making navi models, but they still sell very well because they are not very expensive (the least expensive build with leather, msrp $36,600+, has an invoice of $32,920 and you can do several hundred $ to $1,000 better than that, depending on the dealer and color). there is also a new build that features navigation but is not so packed with options that is also attractive if you are price conscious like i am- it msrp's at $39,600+ and invoice i believe is $35,410. you can get the same deal on this car as well (the navi models are much more easy to find in the color you want because they make more of them). if you have serious difficulty finding the color you want, then you may have to pay a little bit more. glendale, westminster and carlsbad (and more that i can't remember) are dealing at about $500 above the four dealerships i listed above. thousand oaks is extremely nice but they don't really deal- they were pretty much at invoice. at woodland hills, when i told them my pricing expectations (i'd already been offered this deal at four other places), were a bit offended and the sales manager came out and started lecturing me. :) i even know most of the current and upcoming inventory in the $36,600 non-nav build, so if you are looking for silver or smoky granite (that charcoal exterior- very nice) send me a pm. a lot of cars got delivered to the dealerships this past week, and in the next week or two a lot of them are getting even larger shipments. if you can't find the color you want right away in the build you want, ask them what they have coming in the next week or two- you can agree on the price and leave them a $500 deposit. as far as i've found, the only lexus dealership in socal that lists their new car inventory on the internet is santa monica, and you can find that at cars.com. if you need more details, shoot me a pm.
Re: Los Angeles area prices [1lpn]

I picked up a White/Ivory I4 SE for 18,400 (including dest.) from Miller Honda in Van Nuys, CA. It was 20,1xx OTD with the $55 doc fee. He had 2 more of the I4 SE's on the lot: one was Silver/Black, and the other Black/Ivory. Contact Bruce Abernathy. He was also letting the V6 SE's go for 19,900. Next door at Robertson Honda of North Hollywood I managed to get 18,500 and 20,000 respectively. ($100 more for either) They only had one V6 and quite a few I4's. Robertson should be able to match the Miller prices, but Bruce at Miller gave me no problems. The contact at Robertson is Dexter. I also went to Kolbe in Reseda, Keyes in Woodland Hills, and Honda of Thousand Oaks. They all showed me the door when I showed them the Miller prices. Good luck to you all.

Re: Starting the Process to Purchase 2006 911 [bwedotnet]

Although the Newport Beach people said they wouldn't discount custom orders (only stock) the Thousand Oaks dealer (much closer to my house anyway) said that they would and have a February build date. The Woodland Hills dealer offered a 4% discount right off the bat but wouldn't do 6% and had a build date in March. Thanks for your input - it was the information I needed to get my deal done quickly and easily.
