Test drive: 2009 Accord Coupe I4 and V6: by sbowden99 on Wed Aug 27 14:51:07 PDT 2008; After dealing with an extensive set of problems on my 2003 Acura CL, I've been shopping around for a replacement. The Accord Coupe seemed like a natural choice. For whatever reason, dealer inventory is pitiful in Colorado, so I was only able to test drive the automatic transmission models. I4 EX-L: Great car, reminds me of my 98 Accord Coupe, except more like a BMW. I want it in my driveway as soon as possible. V6 EX-L: Between 70 and 80 mph, it felt like the front wheels were out of balance. I even got the salesman to acknowledge the problem during the test drive. From what I've read in this forum, the vibration could be related to the VCM. If so, Honda did not fix the problem for 2009. I've enjoyed reading about this, and appreciate being steered away from the V6 with VCM. Has anyone driven the V6 MT? Any drivetrain problems? cheers, --Seth Colorado Springs

Though I live in SC, I am often in Marietta for work. (I agree about GP honda -- I test drove a used truck there about 5 ys ago and was not pleased. The Nissan dealer in Conyers at the time was no better.) BTW, check out Acura of Athens next time. I haven't purchased/serviced there, but I visited in May and had a nice no pressure talk with a salesman. Plus they will come get your car and leave a loaner with you within a 125 mile radius if you purchase there. (also Volvo of Athens)

Help Plz: by sethblade on Sun May 25 18:54:57 PDT 2008; I have a 92 Dodge Stealth 3.0 v-6 Twin Turbo, Now my car is backfiren, but the funny thing is that the firen order is off by 2 cylinders, the book says 1-4-2-5-3-6, but the way i have it is 1-2-4-5-3-6 and it seems to run a lot better then the way the book says, the book way gives me Poor Accel, Backfire, and somewhat hard to start, but my way the car will not backfire "as much" but starts Quicker, and a whole lot better Accel. Can someone plz help me, iv been worken on this problem for 2 months now, so i really need your help, tell me what i should do, or what could be the problem, Could it be my valves. some kind of sensiour, why dose it run better with a messed up firing order.
