Re: Gotta Get Me Some Global Warming [oldfarmer50]

When you are freezing your fanny off, you don't care. Yep, my climate is too cold also. I have no need for an AC, but heat my house for up to 9 months a year. This type of condition goes on year after year. There's vast stretches of land in Canada, Asia, and Alaska which could become habitable if it warmed a little, and most of the rest of us could enjoy a little added warmth each day. That's why everyone moves south and west when they retire because the vast majority of people prefer the warmer weather. When I retire, I'm either moving to Hawaii, or maybe Costa Rica if the cost and politicics is right then.

I have 74 fj40 gas and here in Costa Rica we have ones a year a inspection for safety and when I went they said that my motor number was tampered with I also have a 72 and 79 fj40. I need some kind of info on how the motors were stamped so I can show then why all of the letters and numbers are a little different on the motor.

CB driving trip

Last month I drove with my family to Fornells/Aiguablava/Calella de Palafrugell, nice spots in Costa Brava (Spain). Among some other interesting cars (of which I did not take any pic) I pictured this Maserati Coupe at the Hotel parking lot Not the best-looking Maserati shilouette in my opinion. Though it recalls the C12 lines, in the Coupe they have become too common, I dare say. Now I will post some pics of the Costa Brava just to remember a nice autumnal September. Regards, Jose
I bought 2009 Murano 2WD SL + Leather+Prem.+Tech on Sep.27(OTD: $32671.91)

First of all, thank you for people's posting here. This forum helped me a lot. Thus, I want to share my buying experience. I bought 2009 Murano 2WD SL + Leather+Prem.+Tech + Splash guard + Floor mat on Sep.27, 2008 OTD is $32,671.91 (4.99% finance) Car price only is $30,006.41. (MSRP: $33,370) The color is Glacier Pearl. My dealer shop is in Costa Mesa in CA. I think this is less price than carsdirect.com's price. I satisfied with price and Murano. I spend about 2 weeks research before buying. Personally, I would recommend you to choose Tech Pakage. It is really convinence like intelligence key system. I wish my experience help you and you would make better deal. Thank you

I am a bit late for this, but here are my loved car dreams. Unrealistic. I must confess I would easily content myself driving the Audi R10 TDI or the 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Superleggera Touring Spyder that TM & LG posted ;), but in my dreams this Ferrari 500, ca 1953, comes first: Affordable but also unrealistic because there is not available. A 335d with manual tranny. I'm very satisfied with my auto 335d, but I would be even happier if she were manual. I don't miss the left pedal but my lost feeling of being in control of the engine. Strangely, I feel am driving more slowly this car than the 530d. I think it is because of her consistent engine braking. But the speed average tells me I am quicker in real terms. Apart from that, everything is a pleasure with the new car (thanks for asking it, bmlexus). I have just enjoyed driving 1,000 miles to Costa Brava and back. I will post about it later. Regards, Jose
