Re: DVD sound throughout vehicle [eager_beaver]

Hey eager beaver, I don't have the nav screen, but do have the radio/cds. According to the manual I should be able to listen to the DVD using the radio and speakers, but can't figure it out. I don't even know if this is maybe after market and not hooked up to the radio. Can anyone help. Of course one of the former owners kept the headsets. Clueless!

To get your DVD sound to play through the trucks' speakers just hit the CD button on the left side of the nav screen until RSE (rear seat entertainment) appears. You may find you need to tunr the volume up once you switch to DVD. I just watched season 1 of "Arrested Development" during my lunches at work in the truck. This might prove to be a tough habit to break. :P

We just bought an '04 Yukon Denali XL. Its black and has every option available at the time including BOTH dvd and sunroof. So far it's awesome.

Oh sure, all the minivan makers produce a loaded up luxo model that tops $40K, but the meat of that market is at the $25K price point. Let me modify my earlier remarks though: if Chrysler can produce one that sells for $30K, they will make a splash. If they price them at $40K, it will be just like if the Volt gets priced at $40K: exciting new tech that no-one but a few eager (and very rich) beavers will buy.

Well, the MDX does not have the Bucky Beaver look, to me, as much as do the sedans. Still odd-looking, but not as garish. I like the new TSX, style-wise (still, not The Shield). I think it works better in person than in pix. I'm hoping the TL will be the same. Two months 'till the Auto Show where all will be revealed to me (unless I just hit a dealer). But, I'm not in the market, thanks in part to a different market...
