From the time I first spotted a Rondo about a month before its official introduction, I knew Kia had designed a uniquely pratical and functional vehicle. I helped one of my employees purchase one about a year ago & it has lived up to expectations. Way to go Kia!
Re: Stiffer shocks for Fit Sport? [bbrennfo]

I have also wondered about the suspension for the base fit & the sport model. From my reading the Sport handles better at the cost of a signicantly stiffer ride. Also the sport exterior trim adds weight & drag & you pay $1,500 for those options on the sport. That said cruise control, a rear sway bar & larger alloy wheels are nice things to have. My solution would be to get a rear sway bar from Honda & spend an hour mounting it while also mounting a tow kit, get a nice set of 16" alloys & tires Tire Rack ($820), and an aftermarket cruise control for about $300. Voila -- no rice boy look, better fuel ecomony & handling, & avoid the harsher ride the come from the Sports stiffer springs & shocks. All for less than $1,500.

WE normally run 89 Octane in our 1.8T. Occasionally fill it with 91-92. I cannot tell the difference, but I have never tried to compare MPG with the different octanes. Still running fine & getting excellent MPG with 48K..

Kernelpanic Can you provide the dealer name and email me the rep that you're dealing with? I'm from Bellingham and the local dealer is offering $28,500 on a V6 Awd, Limited trim. Options include: * DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS * JBL IN-DASH 6-CD PREMIUM AUDIO * LEATHER SEAT PACKAGE * MOONROOF * MUDGUARDS (PIO) * SEAT HEATER * TOWING PACKAGE and I think dealer doc fees are extras. Thanks.

Hi Captain2, Could you provide the dealer name that you dealt with? I am from Bellingham. Most Nissan dealers here are inflexible with their price so i am willing to travel to Portland or farther if the price is right. I am looking at the same package as yours. Any suggestion? Thanks.

BIKE RACK: Picked up this one for my 04 Forester & am very pleased with it. It took a couple of trys to get our two bikes fitted to it (very different height cross bars). It is relatively light weight, holds the bikes well & very solid at freeway speeds. It folds up into a nice compact package when off the car. Was about $168 from Amazon.
