The invoice they showed me was $27500, I offered $25000, hope they will come back to me somewhere around $26300, but they just rejected. Any suggestion ? After all was said and done, the number he gave us was $26,649. This is for the 08 Outlander XLS FWD, with Luxery and S&S, and DVD installed. My wife decided to throw out a crazy number, and see what happened.. We offered $25,200 for the car.. He said that was a crazy number to work with, and then told us that the bottom line, drop-dead minimum he could go was $25,600. We took that deal.. Ended up paying $28,000 for the car, with Tax, Title, and Tags.. Considering that invoice on the car with options is around $27,000, I think we made out pretty well! Thanks for the tips... By the way, if anyone in Central Jersey is looking for a Mitsubishi, All-Star Mitsubishi in South Amboy is the way to go. They are great people, and really worked with us.. No pressure, no stupid "You're taking food out of my kids mouths" BS. They just wanted to sell a car. And that they did!

YES! Ray Catena - FABULOUS: by jennbb on Sun Dec 24 07:06:16 PST 2006; I just came on to post my deal from them. It's Ray Catena in Monmouth NJ. There are a few Ray Catenas in NJ & NY. This one is near Perth Amboy (furthest from me unfortunately, took almost 3 hours) They asked me to send all my CT friends, I'm sure they won't mind some from DE :-) The guy kept telling me what a good deal I got. I was like, yeah whatever, I knew there were better ones in South CA. He said they will practically lose money on a deal to make their volume bigger end of month - their bonus is based on #of cars out the door. So now is the BEST time for you to go. I bet you can do better than my deal. I picked up my car yesterday. (OMG - I am in LOVE!!!!) but now to the details... I did everything over the phone. 2007 RX350 AWD preminum + Nav - this thing is loaded, I found features I didn't even know about. $45,706 MSRP $40,600 negotiated price $0 cap cost reduction 36 month term, 12K miles/year 59% residual (I was sure 59% was for 10K miles and 57% for 12K, other dealers had told me this so I thought they made a mistake in my favor and would catch it on the paperwork, none of which I saw since I did a phone deal. Was sure they were going to bait-and-switch when I got there. They didn't. It really is 59% at 12K.) money factor = .00133 (until Jan2 with tier1+ credit, score over 730) monthly payment = $498.00 including 6% CT sales tax. I'm telling you. Call them. They'll deal. I'm certain you can even do better. They told me to get the word out - so you can tell them Jenn in CT told you. Sorry for the long post - I am just beaming. I couldn't be happier with this car or with the dealer. The place was fabulous but zooey - they had a garage the size of a mall full of cars that were all being picked up yesterday. Beautiful dealership too. Can't believe I'm driving this for < $500/month. If I had known how much I'd love it, I would have done a 48 month lease for even less. I think I'll just buy it at end of term. GO - GO NOW. And post your deal. I want to see how low they'll go.

4x4: by lhernandez on Tue Nov 15 04:49:16 PST 2005; This summer I replaced the rear on a 1994 GMC Jimmy now the 4x4 does not engage. The vehicle has over 130,000 miles, so I'm looking to fix the problem w/o losing my shirt off my back. What should I be looking at? What could be the problem and the solution(s) Approx. what price range I'm looking at? :confuse: ? Thanks Disengaged.

Re: Navigation system? [kg77]: by nmatson on Sun Jul 18 12:43:55 PDT 2004; I always said I would never get a NAV system but when I ended up with one I love it. Went to a restaurant Friday night down on the water front at Perth Amboy NJ. Easy getting there in daylight but coming out was going to be difficult with all the side streets in the dark, Press destination HOME and you get clear directions to get back on the highway. I also like the voice reminders when driving long trips by myself. It seems to keep me more alert and on my toes than just listening to the radio.

I've taken 22 from Somerville to the Garden State once or twice, but mainly I only get on from 202 to get coffee at the Dunkin Donuts across from the Lone Star Steakhouse thing. (That's what that mall is called! :) I've gotten lost a couple of times at the 23/46 thing, but I have the hang of it now. I think that whole area around Perth Amboy is a mess. I've taken a few wrong turns there, too.
