Seen yesterday while having a pleasant outdoor lunch at Woodstock Station Brewpub in No Woodstock NH> Two Morgans, one on a flatbed, the other under it's own power, both were early 50s Plus 4 models with the flat radiator, like this, and both were a medium/dark blue. I also spotted a dark blue '64 Stingray, parked with a it's top down, just the thing for a nice ride on a late summer Friday afternoon. All three of these sports cars we in fabulous shape.

We closed the deal tonight and brought it home. The dealer specifically asked that I not disclose its name and I intend to respect that. I started out donkey punching and then asked the top dealers to compete against the carsdirect.com (25,081) price. Some claimed that carsdirect charges additional dock fees. Whatever. A dealer decided to step up and sold it to me for 25,000 inclusive of doc. fees+1750 tax+21 tag & lemon law = $26,771. Got splashguards & pinstriping thrown in. Other runner up dealers that I strongly recommend because of how candid and quick they were are Conyers Honda (25350.00) and Hennessey in Woodstock ($253XX.00). The only downside for me was that both were significantly far away. Phil Hughes in Athens was also very forthright, but was over $1000 more. Take this for what it's worth, but we were warned that there are some hail damaged cars still out there from the big storm back in the spring being sold as new despite the repair work. Be sure to check the roofs of the cars.

Wow Gerry, that sounds like a rather unsatisfactory response.My only thought is the dif problem has not manifested itself into the common disaster that Judylink experienced or I'm quite sure there would be a major recall on the CRV. As it is, I see many, many on the road from all three generations. Something tells me we haven't seen the end of this Thanks for the head;s up and be safe t
