After a lot of back and forth between me, the dealer, the manager and the GM, this is the best they could come up with: MSRP: $50,835 (Tech and Xenon lights) Cap Cost: $46,519 Residual: 49% Miles: 15K per year Term: 39 months Money at time of signing (bank fees, DMV, first month, etc): $2110 Monthly Payment: $669.00 Current Lease: I have two payments left that they said they'd take care of I didn't think that this was a good deal by any means but the manager said that this was really the best I was going to get from any dealer. I explained how I did a sign and drive for my current car (loaded M35x) and how I only pay $630 a month for it and they told me that Infiniti is looking to get more people to buy than to lease and that's why the lease deals are getting worse while the purchase/finance deals are getting better. Here are a few other tidbits of "information" given to me: 1) Edmunds TMV value is based off of people who purchase cars with cash in hand and isn't accurate for leasing. 2) Prices listed on blogs and forums are generally exaggerated as people often like to brag about some "special deal" they got. 3) August lease deals are much worse than July. 3) Next month's lease rates on the M35 will be higher. 4) When factoring in the owner loyalty rebate of $2K, that value isn't subtracted from the invoice price or MSRP as that would skew all the calcuations. 5) The FX35 is cheaper but the money factor is high and it is therefore more expensive than the M35x on a lease. I got the car at roughly $1800 under invoice. I was negotiating between Englewood, Warnock and Bridgewater. My deal is 3 yrs / 36k miles per yr at $425 per month with only inceptions of $1599 due at signing. With the 09's coming any day I think you can get the car under invoice if you work it. I was very happy with the deal I made, but I had to work pretty hard to go back and forth between them.

Re: Buying a new 2009 RL [pds1]: by reji007 on Fri Aug 22 05:08:34 PDT 2008; I went to an Acura dealership in Bridgewater, NJ (interested in leasing an RL) and the only RL that they had in stock was the one in the showroom. They said that they expected to get more of them in around September. Sat in the one in the showroom for a bit, and I have to admit that it is quite nice. I have a well equipped 06 M35x and I don't think I'd lose out on many features by switching to the RL (just some back seat room).

2008 MDX Base - lease deal: by yacomrade1 on Sun Aug 10 12:39:16 PDT 2008; Picked up the MDX yesterday. I dealt with three different dealers, this past week: Brunswick-OpenRoad; Springfield; and Bridgewater, all in central NJ (mostly by phone, since it's much less pressure and it allowed me to validate any of their claims while on the phone, since I had easy access to the internet). Bridgewater Acura matched the best price I had, and more importantly had my color preference (in stock). I thought about waiting a few more weeks til the end of August, since my current lease expires near month end, but wanted to be sure to get this color combo. 2008 Base, white/taupe 36 mos 15K/year 1850 in bank/doc/dmv fees (paid up front, includes 1st month) includes Sport Running Boards installed 535/month (includes 6% NJ sales tax) Just to share my experience... to help others... as I was helped by this forum.
