Recommend an LA dealer for repairs?: by mysonscar1 on Sat Nov 15 10:06:38 PST 2008; I live in Bakersfield CA (roughly 110 miles northeast of Los Angeles) - the new owner of an 03. No dealer in our city. Anyone recommend a dealer in Valencia or this side of LA?

Advice for new 03 owner?: by mysonscar1 on Fri Nov 14 12:41:18 PST 2008; After lots of research on a sturdy vehicle for my high school senior's first car, we purchased a used 03 with 64K on it. Stupid me, the ONLY thing I didn't research was repair record. It's got 70K on it now and we honestly haven't had any problems (except rear window just died) but I know it needs a new serpentine belt... Problem is, I'm in Bakersfield CA and there are no dealers here. Could anyone recommend a dealer in Valencia or Pasadena CA? From everything I've read, we should consider trading this in and buying something else..but in the meantime, I know I need to do the required maintenance. Any advice is welcomed. thank you! My son's car (my checkbook)

I bought a new 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S with the convenience package for $19,100 (after all the rebates and lots of bargaining) and OTD was approximately about 20,600. I don't know how you did to get about 2K under invoice for a '09, invoice 21801 - 750$ cash = $21051, but it's really a good deal.

"They won't do that"...I had the internet guys from a Dealer in Bakersfield, Ca called me dishonest.... Then I emailed them the quote from the other dealer - Sierra in Lancaster, Ca. All of the sudden a different sales guy from the Bakersfield dealer started email me.... Right now I'm finding $500 below invoice plus the rebate on anything at any of the dealerships. I've got one at 1,000 below invoice - Las Vegas. I'll see if the local guys will match it. Vegas's region has less rebate so the net is about the same either way right now. But if I can work another 500 out of them before I buy, I will! :) At this point I'm tempted to just sit out and wait until the incentives go up. ;) ( I get a good deal on a rental.... :shades: ) As I remember November was about peak last year...should be this year. Sales down and the '09's out.
