access above headliner: by terrystader on Sat May 28 10:30:46 PDT 2005; I planning on drilling some holes for through the roof antennas (ham radio)... has any one got any insight for getting above the headliner? Anything published on the internet about this vehicle? Thanks in advance.... :shades:

I just checked the Jaguar USA website, and "Bluetooth pre-wire" is listed as a standard feature on every car in the XJ series. I believe Bluetooth is now standard on every XJ built after April 15, 2005. There won't be many -- if any -- of these Bluetooth-wired cars in the U.S. yet. They'll probably start arriving by mid-June or so.

Jaguar will not build 2005 XJ8: by exit32 on Wed Feb 09 07:26:08 PST 2005; I've been shopping for a new Jaguar XJ8 (short wheelbase, non-supercharged). Couldn't find the color and options I want on a "leftover" 2004 model, so I decided to order a new 2005 XJ8.   Guess what? My dealer told me that Jag will not be building any 2005 XJ8 short-wheelbase cars. Yes, the supercharged "R" version of the short-wheelbase XJ8 will be available, but that's not what I want.   Can anyone else confirm this story?

Anyone Else Noticed Premature Paint Chipping Wear?: by cigarman on Thu May 27 07:00:02 PDT 2004; Are their any other owners of PT's with colors other than black who have noticed VERY thin paint of premature chipping or bubbling-flaking?
