VATerp: The four cylinder isn't a V4, but an inline 4. That said, you might check these two places nearby for the best deals: http://www.fairfaxhyundai.com/ou/fairfax-hyundai/ http://www.fitzmall.com/ I plan to hit them hard for a 4 cyl limited soon. Good luck. Bob

I am curious as to what dealer and city did you deal with AS this is exactly the same story that was told to me and I documented having vibration felt through steering wheel starting a few weeks after I got the car (LS 460). It had Bridgestone's. I rotated every 5,ooo per their suggestion and even rebalanced at 10,000 miles to no avail. Now, I have to buy 2 at their dealership and they will pay for the other 2. They indicated that I must buy 2 or they will not buy the other 2. I called Michelin (this is what I am putting on as replacement) and they said to first cure the problem before putting new tires on or the same problem will reoccur. The dealer can't find the problem. He said that it tracks perfectly straight and when putting on brakes, it doesn't pull to one side. they have concluded that they can't explain why it is cupping!!1 Won't this just reoccur again soon after putting on 4 new tires ? Any help will be appreciated. Please send response to my personal e-mail address which is: kr5flute@yahoo.com Thanks. RD Steve

did you buy it ? If so, what is name of dealer and did you deal with a salesman or internet mgr or did you go in person and talk to a manager ? Name? I am looking to lease for 36 months with nothing down BUT a "one payment lease" that reflects an MSRP for a 2008 Hybrid of $51,064 with a lease price of $44,200 plus $349 doc fee which results in a residual of .48 at a rate of .00090...giving total payment (lump sum at front of lease) of $27,400 ($713.05/month). Is this a decent deal ? Can I get a better deal ? Which numbers should be trimmed to result in a lower one payment lump sum ? Any help will be appreciated.

I am going to the dealer tomorrow. He offered me an outright all cash purchase price of $42,500 for a 400Hybrid that has an MSRP of $51 approx. We know that we would trade it in at end of 3 years since new technology will make this car a dinasaur. Please explain how I should negotiate with the sales mgr, who I have an apptmt with tomorrow. I like the idea of a "one pay lease" whereby I will trade my wife's 2006 Pilot w nav and leather in (and hopefully have very little cash outlay to consummate the lease. she will need a lease with 20,ooo miles if this is possible as she drives about 22,000 miles a year usually. I do not understand the terms such as the .00150 and 48% (does the lease mean no down payment? do I first negotiate the discounted price of car and reveal that I want a lease ? and then reveal that I have a trade-in ? Do I have to negotiate hard to get a 20,000 mile per year lease ? A sales mgr of a distant lexus advised me that this would be good for me if I definitely would trade in 3 years and insisited on paying cash if I didn't lease (due to my bad health condition etc). HELP- - - - HELP - - - -HELP. tHANKS IN ADVANCE.....Reddog

We purchased an 09 Sonata Ltd 4cyl this summer. It's my wife's car and she drives it daily. I get to drive it occasionally. We live in south-central PA and our roads have to rank up there with some of the worst you will find (potholes, frost heaves, uneven surfaces, etc, etc). As far as my wife and I are concerned this Sonata drives fine, rides smooth, and is very much worth it. We bought it out of state (Fairfax Hyundai) and the trip home returned almost 32 MPG before it was even broken in. As far as now, we are in the low 20's since my wife's drive to work is only a few miles and her other driving is to her mother's and the shopping centers about 10 miles one way in mixed mode traffic. Overall, we are satisfied. ;)
Should I buy?

Hi All, I made the deal for the LT2 Malibu I recently posted about. The story on the hail damage was that there were alot of cars, mainly Impalas at the storage yard in Fairfax Kansas that got hit. They were never delivered to the intended dealers. They all went straight to GM auction. A few Chevy dealers around here each have several Impalas. Anyway I love this car. I can't believe how quiet it is. The double laminated glass really does the job. I'm also really impressed with how peppy the 4 cyl. is. I got a good price on my 05 Malibu trade so I decided to do it. I'm very glad I did. Anyone out there on the fence about buying a new Malibu, I would recommend taking the jump. This car is nothing like the previous generation Malibu. You won't be disappointed. thedeckdog
