‘The BBC very gravely misrepresented me and several others, as well as the science behind our argument. It is a breach of its code of conduct. ‘I was interviewed for 90 minutes and all my views were backed up by sound scientific data, but this was all omitted. They made it sound as if these were just my personal views, as if I was some potty peer. It was caddish of them.’ Ofcom confirmed it was looking into a ‘fairness complaint’ about the documentary. A BBC spokesman said: ‘We stand by the programme.’ Lord Monckton, 56, a former journalist and Cambridge graduate, says scientific data shows the world is cooler today than in the Middle Ages. He appeared alongside other sceptics including distinguished Florida-based meteorologist Professor Fred Singer, John Christy, a climate change expert and adviser to the U.S. government and the climatologist Dr Patrick Michaels, of the University of Virginia. I drove in boston for the last 20 yrs and all you gotta do is ignore the yield signs, gun it at yellow, know how to drive around those dinky one way streets and you'll be fine. Oh, and don't drive or park your H1,H2,slade... in cambridge, all the prius in the block will join force and use their Ni-Mh power to fry your truck. To cap it off, the VW rabbit that uses biodiesel will make sure the interior smells like the kitchen of mickey d's for the next 6 months. I found driving in NYC about the same, except you do have to yield and pedal to the metal at all times.

" Autobots, decepticons spotted, confirmed foes: H1, H2, Escalade. Fire the Ni-Mh cannon, DESTROY THE ENEMY!!!!! :P :P :P What about v-12 exotics or v-8 powered sedans? Which side are they on? By contrast, H1s are pretty much wallflowers here. No, not every 1 out of 10 homes have one, but they are so common nobody pays attention to them anymore. The same can be said of e46 M3s and Mustang GT/GT500.

Thanks jb_turner. I guess I got better deal today from other dealer --- 365 EMI 1000 down. This looks way better than the one posted earlier --- 435 EMI 1000 down. Initially I had approached Honda Village, MA dealer on 8/19 and spent 2+ hours in negotiation to get them almost agreed to 300 EMI 500 down. However i could not makeup my mind so requested them to hold on to it for that night. I approached them next day but I was being treated as a new customer. Even the same sales guy (his name sergie) started negotiation all over, so spend next 1+ hour in negotiation. This time they agreed to 330 EMI and 1000 down. Well this is not done yet. Paid 1000$ down to complete that transaction. The finance manager took few sign and said I am all set. After signed my papers I was going through my lease agreement, found that the EMI was 579$. OHNOOO!!! When asked he said my credit score not good (634). Next round of negotiations 435 EMI 1000 down was agreed. I was so exhausted and signed the damn deal with anger/frustration; frankly I could not sleep well that night. (Weak hearted you know) Well this is not done yet. Next day 08/21, I approached other dealer in my area Cambridge Honda, MA and negotiated a fresh deal 365 EMI 1000 down. I have signed this deal today 8/21 and I am all set to pickup my car on 08/23. WOW!!! I am very pleased with Cambridge Honda dealer service. P.S. Now I am still working with Honda Village to cancel my previous deal and keep hearing all the crap from them even now.

Location: Cambridge, MA Date: 8/16/08 Price of car: 25,178 splash guards: 159 side molding: 245 rear bumper applique: 94 remote start: 499 Sub total: 26,175 Trade in: (2003 Nissan Frontier ccab 4x4 LB): $10,000 Trade diff: 16,175 Mass Tax: 808.75 Title: 5 Vehicle admin fee: 299 plate/reg/sticker: 104 sales comm: .75% 117.57 Total price financed: $17,509.32 (financed @ 3.9% over 60 mos) What I did: I went on Honda website and got e-quotes from all regional dealers. I picked 3 and went and got quotes on my trade. Differences in car quotes were up to $1000 apart. Differences in trade quotes were up to $3,500 apart. Purchase experience: The dealer dropped the ball on several fronts, not having the car ready when agreed upon, and screwing up the installation of the body side molding. In the end they agreed to fix all and threw in a couple of free services and accessories to make up for the inconvenience. Initial thoughts on the car: All good so far. the remote starter is terrible, I'd recommend going for an after market version.

If you had noticed, I did not imply that global warming was a function of c02 increase but rather stated that enough empirical eveidence was not in hand to base a logical conclusion. First of all, there’s quite a bit of fluctuation. There are long periods of time when the average global temperature was as much as 9 C degrees (16 F degrees) colder than now. These were ice ages. Much of the northern part of the world was covered with thick sheets of ice, much like we see today in Greenland and Antarctica. The most recent ice age ended about 12,000 years ago.
