Re: Accord EX V6 w/o Nav in Northern California [two42nite]: by stacey_burke on Wed Mar 23 20:45:10 PST 2005; I have written about this a couple of times on this board so I hope not one minds to see it again. I am from Colorado and bought an accord in California and paid no California sales tax. It was done in this way. I flew to Sacramento and was met at the airport by a driver from Auto West in Roseville. The entire processes took less than an hour. After signing papers I followed a driver out of the state to Reno. I then signed papers at a notary republic that I lived out of state and that I was taking the car out of California. Because I took delivery of the car out of state there was no sales tax. This was not the first time they had done this, it seemed like the driver did it quite a few times. The Notary knew him by name and they talked for some time. You would need to find a dealer close enough to the state line that will drive the car to another state so you do not pay state sales tax. Again, the dealer at Roseville outside of Sacramento gave me a very good price. Hope this helps

RE: win report--bought Accord EX today by proimion: by stacey_burke on Tue Apr 27 06:24:36 PDT 2004; Proimion, I have been looking at this board for some time and you are the first to say anything about the Denver Area. I live on the west slope (grand Junction) and we only have the one dealer here. I plan to go to Denver to buy a Accord EX V6 W/Nav. I need to know about the dealers - anything would help.
