Mr. Shiftright, what are the basic differences between the US 300SD Turbo and euro 123 300D Turbo? I have both and I notice that the turbochargers look different. They also sound different when both engines are fired up. Performance wise, my 300SD way better!

I have a 2003 base focus automatic. What kind of noise do you hear when you turn left? For bearings, I did not even rely on the recall, I went to an O'Reilly auto shop and bought a set of front and rear bearings. Now my car is quiet on the road. It's perfect. For the creaking sound, I still hear it and seems to come from the rocker panel.

Same problem with my 84 euro benz 300D Turbo. 1st to 2nd gear it short of gives me whiplash... or i have it already. is this part of the model? also, lately i notice a "whirring" sound coming from the rear differential. is it damaged from the whiplash gearshifting? HELP! what should i do to remove the whirring and beginnings of vibration in my car.

Thank you for the response. if it will be prudent i will invest in a used 300D engine that is available. i like the size of the 123 and the power it can give, if i have an engine that is not so tired.
