What brand came on the CR-V? FWIW I have found that Michelin has given me the quietest ride and the best mileage. They are not cheap but they have always worked out well for me.

We have yet to use the ECO mode. Just drop it in "D" and go.

My wife just bought a 2012 CR-V EX-L RES. Her first fill-up averaged 27.8 MPG. 50/50 city and highway.

Bought my 09 Jetta TDI new. Great car, handles like it's on a rail. Been trouble free and the MPG is unbelievable. VW knows how to make good vehicles and there sales figures prove it.
