REALISM Strikes ....

Hey Host Guys/Gals, You are right and I have decided to take my lumps and not use the cupholder (dealer suggested I place a towel over the MMI) and to NEVER buy an AUDI product again ... Also to be a vocal advocate on how lousy AUDI products and customer service is to friends and relatives ... which may seem like pissing in the Atlantic BUT you would be surprised how influential word of mouth (word of web) is on high proice item purchase decision .... On the McDonald's anaology 1 flaw... Mc DOnald's fixed the problem so it would not recur VS. just to stop selling coffee ... AUDI's solution is stop using the product as designed..... Why cant they just seal the UNIT - especially given they could have done it while they replaced the unit .. even better yet tell their supplier to seal the next version... You guys provide a great service here and I wish I had used it before I made the $60K mistake .... I know one of the posters said "Why would audi waste their time reading your posts" I think any good marketer knows voice of the customer ( this is known as opposite of arrogance) is key to success so scanning your posts would be a great & CHEAP source of market intell.... THX! :lemon: :lemon: :lemon: :lemon: :lemon: :lemon: :lemon: :lemon:

"I got the gas passer " He must have been passing Mc'Donald's gas! When I had my wound opened I was already off the morphine. It was 14 days after my operation and I was ready to go home. Didn't happen. After they flushed the wound with water they hooked me up to a vacuum pump to suck out the impurities. It was nasty. After a week I got to go home with a portable pump and a nurse would come by every other day to clean the wound. I made sure I took plenty of pain medicine before she got here. Not something I would wish on my worst enemies. Now I know where the term "warm and fussy" originated. Morphine. Anyway to stay on topic. The head surgeon did buy a tC from our store. That was before I knew her and the guy that did the actual cutting came and bought a Sienna for the wife about a year later. He was sent to Irag right after my second recurrence and I saw him when he got back and looked at me like he had just seen a ghost. Great guy. After a year and a half he still remembered the note I left on the back of my business card. He was in surgery and I stopped by to say hi. He is truly a great American hero. Saved lots of lives in Iraq and I'm sure he saw a few leave this world too. God bless them. :shades:

...I saw a gold color Chevette 4-door. Don't know the model year, but it was at least a 1980, since the grill remained the same from '80-'87. This particular one must have been the strippo model, since it didn't have any side chrome. It's been a long time since I've seen a Chevette. I also saw a late model BMW 5-Series, but what made this one stand out - I did a double take! - was that it had 3 Buick-like port holes on each front fender. The body looked like it was in decent shape, as it was being driven through a Mc Donalds parking lot.

I then drove me and my grandson to Mc Donalds for his weekly day with grandpa eating chicken nuggets. That story gave me a fond flashback to my childhood. In the 1979-80 timeframe, my Mom and I lived in southern Maryland. She had just bought a house, and I know expenses were tight. For a special treat, once a week we'd go to the new McDonald's that just opened up in Waldorf. That was pre-Chicken McNugget times, though. :)

Dear andre1969 "this cow-orker who is, for lack of a better word, a princess. Spoiled, bratty, celf-centered, will argue almost anything and regularly tries to put the spotlight on herself to make herself look like a victim in any situation,"... Is this co-worker's name Paris Hilton? ha ha.Oh, I almost forgot, she will be not driving soon for maybe 45 days. I went to pick up my 5 year old grandson from kindergarten yesterday and I was boxed in by another car that parked behind me in the red zone in front of a fire plug. After I got my grandchild, I walked up to his window and told him that I will have to back up to get out and will be backing into his car's front area to do it. He got the message and determinged that I was angry. He started his Lexus and left. I then drove me and my grandson to Mc Donalds for his weekly day with grandpa eating chicken nuggets. One more sidelight. I also dislike discourteous tailgate drivers. I remember a driver who was being tailgated on the Nimitz Freeway Oakland and hit his brakes. Needless to say the tailgater hit his brakes and hit the center divider. Never did get the front driver, but the tailgater admitted he was tailgating. Very dangerous stuff at 65 mph. Anyone else observe the summer time tends to have increased speed and more drivers taking chances? I have at least in No. Cal. Good luck to all and stay safe. jensad
