2008 Sienna XLE Ltd FWD: by siennab on Wed Aug 27 14:40:17 PDT 2008; All, Just wanted to share my pricing on 2008 Sienna XLE Ltd FWD, EVP # 1 (DVD Ent), HID + Laser Cruise - MSRP of $37864, looks like got a decent deal from Team Toyota, PA, almost $1000 less than invoice, and got out the door (incl Tax, title) $36,702, with 0 APR. Just wanted to say, it was a pleasant experience dealing with Team Toyota sales person Phil Selby. P.S. forgot to mention, I live in NJ, and paid NJ tax. Thanks, Siennab

I had a great experience with no pressure sale. I got a fully loaded TCH for $27,500 (leather, DVD, sunroof, etc). I can provide more details if you want to see them. I found the best tactic was the inventory of other dealerships when discussing price. I did go to Faulker who quoted $29,000 for the same TCH. I also went to Conicelli but they used pressure sales tactics and I walked away. They were willing to sale the car at invoice but I did not like how they went about the sale.

Re: prop rod [steven39]: by bodble2 on Fri Nov 10 14:06:32 PST 2006; Yes, I get ridiculed from time to time about the prop rod issue. But to me, those things belong on a Flintstone-mobile. I mean, how crude is using a stick to prop up the hood! Why should anyone need both hands just to open and close the hood? Some of the cars that still use a prop rod totally floors me, given their prices -- Nissan Z, Infiniti G, Mustang Selby, Pathfinder, Honda Pilot, to name a few. I wouldn't go so far as to say a prop rod, alone, is a deal-breaker for me, but it definitely has been a contributing factor in my eliminating some cars from my shopping list.
