They said they work on Crossfires, but Chrysler has no such training to certify the Crossfire mechanics. They couldn't even tell me if they used the fleece or paper oil filters - just said "whatever Mopar sends us". I bough myself an oil extractor and discovered that NAPA carries the paper fleece we need (made by a German Company for NAPA) and changed the oil myself in 15 minutes. I dread having to deal with those people if something mechanical breaks down in my SRT6.

As long as you don't have to open the hydraulic system, you won't have to bleed anything, so it's strictly a hand tool job. Going to a dealer potentially will be expensive. Most dealerships charge at least $60/hr. for labor, as well as charging FULL LIST for parts. So, for instance, if you indeed need new rotors, you'll probably pay over $100 each, I would imagine, and pads would also be marked up accordingly.

Children under 12 are not allowed in the bed of a pickup. 13? sure no problem as well as anything after that. Who knows why. It's our government at work here in the 50th state.

I'd imagine it's illegal these days. Pennsylvania made it illegal to do this about seven years ago. Poor Mama Walton would have either had a coronary, or been driven to sample the Baldwin sisters' "recipe" after hearing about that one...

Re: Saw the Panamera today [c_ski]: by mtnvariant on Sun Jul 27 07:44:10 PDT 2008; Resurect this one from the archives but there are 13 of them in Keystone Colorado and they are again testing on Loveland Pass. The guys wont say much other than they are going to Mt Evans today to do more testing. No camera with me so nothing to post but they are all clad with various things to minimize recognition. I did notice the quad exhaust on one so there should be a biturbo in the fleet. Engine sound was very nice.
