Re: low boost code do to resonator problem [fyngrynd]
by dogvan on Sun Nov 16 09:08:09 PST 2008
My turbo resonator failed on July 26, 2008 (2006 Sprinter with 7300 miles) en route to ONT from NJ on a Sunday afternoon. Flemington NJ Dodge dealership was useless as was Chrysler 800#. ;) Thankfully, Kingston ONT dealership was terrific, identified the problem quickly, fit me into their schedule on Mon am and made a same-day repair under warranty. I post my story so others will be better informed and perhaps can pressure Dodge for better service and better trained techs.

Indeed I think before anyone moves anywhere, one has to assess the local, state, and feds propensity to enact wacko policies. For example years ago, I did the research in preparation of moving to Incline Village, NV. The huge red flag was construction was mandated to be done as close to trees (dying or otherwise) Indeed some folks have even made living (probably now dead) trees PART of the house. This of course goes against those very same agencies whose regulations require "adequate" fire breaks and common sense. Indeed if you cut down a tree on your own property even despite emergency circumstances: aka sans proper permits, you could be sent to jail on felony charges. Needless to say this (for me) was a deal breaker. Fast forward to the 2008/2009 season, the whole north Tahoe area had since had diseases affecting living trees. This literally has decimated the tree population en mass and most dead trees are.... still standing.
Re: 50 billions to UAW workers? [lemko]

Paying the workers of a mass market product enough to afford what they build worked on many levels. It wasn't just good business by greatly expanding the market for said products, it create pride. It shouldn't take much to drive people over the edge. The eventual collapse of our fiat currency could do it. Or maybe an en masse realization that the taxpayers of the nation have just been railroaded into giving more than a trillion dollars to entities that created the entire mess.

same issue....does anyone have the NEC part Number?? like mr bostwick, the fet in my unit also blew taking out the last 2 numbers of the nec part number. what i can see is "NEC K25..." and there are a bunch of these. here is a site that lists these components and about 6 NEC's. : http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/cgi-bin/helo.pl?field=Nume&type=B&text=k25&lang=- en&action=Search the "2S" in front of K25 simply means that it was made in japan....i think. it's not a big deal to buy it or replace it once you know which specific component to buy. Help? thanks...rich

Try these links: Molten Earth core vs Solar contribution of energy "The simple answer is that the temperature of the earth's core has nothing to do with the presence of the sun. " http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=29757 Neutrino flux measurements from the Earth's core (see kamLAND) show the source of about two-thirds of the heat in the inner core is the radioactive decay of 40K, uranium and thorium. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convection http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/env99/env087.htm "As you guessed, the earth's interior would have cooled off by now if there weren't some source of energy. That source happens to be radioactive decay of elements such as uranium. This process continually heats the earth, and does not defy the second law of thermodynamics."
