Assuming this means three 'classic' cars, I'd buy: 1) A supercharged '64 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk with the half-vinyl "Sports Roof" (like a landau vinyl top) Any color. 2) A 1962 Corvette with hardtop...any engine, any trans, but not white, bright red, black or silver...any color but! 3) A 1965 Pontiac Bonneville two-door hardtop with buckets and console (rarely seen on a Bonneville, but available). I think it's the best domestic instrument panel ever put in a car. Similar to a Grand Prix, but with the fastback roofline. Color: Iris Mist or a dark maroon. Bill P.

Is that your MS3? I like it!--I should check them out. Yes, that one's mine. I think that you can get them on S Plan now. Mine has been totally problem free with the exception of one CEL incident where it remained on for about one day. The ECU was re-flashed at the next oil change pursuant to an emissions recall and the CEL has been dark ever since. I average 23-25 mpg in mixed driving, depending on how many times I participate in the Stop Light Grand Prix... ;) The car also acquits itself pretty well on the track, with the OEM Bridgestones being the major limiting factor: Next time I'm also going to fit Hawk HP+ front pads as added insurance. The stock pads are ATE pieces that worked well but I did restrict my speed on the front straight to only 110 or so. The one thing I really don't like about the MS3 is the fact that the Louisville Mazda dealers are simply horrible. Their reputations for sales and service are abysmal, and at least one dealer-Oxmoor-charges@25% over MSRP for parts(I usually avoid using the term "stealer", but in Oxmoor's case they have earned the title fair and square). I can get equivalent BMW parts cheaper than that from Swope... Last I read, the Bullitt is going for near invoice, but I haven't really investigated. I've also heard that you can now deal on the Bullitt- just not at my nearest dealer, who prefers to make a quick buck rather than build a loyal customer base. His philosophy is "Screw 'em all; there's plenty more where they came from." God help me--I just read the review of the Dinan 335i S2 in the Roundel.......whatever you do, don't read that article on p. 54 of the April 2008 Roundel..... I know... At the BMW CCA HPDE at Putnam Road Course last weekend one of the instructors had a Sparkling Graphite 135i fitted with coilovers and black O.Z. Superleggera wheels. I really liked it. From 90-110 it it was noticeably quicker than my sled. Stick the Dinan or Turner software into one and fit a real limited slip diff and it would be just about perfect.
When I was very young...

...there was a big garage behind the neighborhood grocery store next to my parent's place that housed a 1931 Auburn Speedster. The grocer himself had a 1948 Ford F-1 pickup which would be considered collectible today. I used to deliver newspapers for a time from the mid-1970s thru the early 1980s and saw a lot of other interesting cars people had hidden in their garages. Among them was a dark blue LWB 1953 DeSoto Firedome sedan, a green 1951 Pontiac Catalina, a black and gold 1957 Studebaker Hawk, a 1947 Cadillac hearse, and a red and white 1940 Packard ambulance.
First time buyer....is this a good price.

First time buyer with little experience...is this a good deal? Thanks for any help in advance. I'm trying to move on this because my current lease is up on August 17. I just received this quote from a dealer in New Jersey: 2007 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 automatic w/ Navigation Black Hawk Pearl 15k per year 36 mos. $485 down (DMV) Monthly Payment: $399 Here's a copy of his email "I spoke to my sales manager, and he said that we can be at $399 including tax and dmv for the 2007 Honda Accord EXL-V6 Navigation. This is by 36 months, using the $485 as a down payment. This is also 15,000 miles per year. I understand you logic, the $50 per month for navigation, unfortunately the prices of the Accords has gone up since you leased you current one. The money factor has gone up as well. Please email me or give me a call at your earliest convenience."
Re: Scientific Theories [texases]

Ah, I think you need to consider that Hawking Radiation, just like GW theory is based on unproven mathematical models. At least the GW models have data (and we can argue whether it is useful, or being interpreted correctly). And whether it is Hawking or Einstein, that people have supported their theories, they both have been proved wrong at times. I always thought scientists had the correct answers, and would save the day - but then someone told me Mr. Spock and Scotty were just fictional. I'm sure you can find many different on GW, and black holes. The problem is how sure are we?

Current best understanding is that small black holes would 'evaporate' because of 'Hawking Radiation'. Google it if you're worried about it.
