I was scratching my head over his TL/Accord comparison too. Your visual reply was bang-on.

Don't worry about it, it was just a little tongue-in-cheek comment, based on the fact that the consensus is that TLs have a plusher interior than the G35. I wasn't thinking of the geographical locations or house values of G owners. But since you brought it up, in my area, the average home value is probably, oh, I would say, about $1.75M. It's not Buckingham Palace, but it's not bad. ;)

Thanks, but no thanks. We don't like slummin' it!

But I have a feeling Acura's objective with the bigger motor in the AWD model is simply to compensate for the added weight, rather than to offer a high-performance alternative. In your test drive, did you notice that AWD eliminated torque steer?

In December and until March I always use a dedicated set of wheels with winter tires (Snow). Changing wheels twice a year ensures proper tires in every season, proper rotation and ensures that I never have problems with rusted lug nuts or wheels.

"seems like the tiguan is the most fun to drive, has the nicest interior, and has more equipment but it loses because it's cost more??? isn't there a saying you get what you pay for? they didn't even mention the tiguans panoramic sunroof, dynaudio soundsytem, bi-xenon headlights with afs? i think it's a poor review IMO " Yeah, like "Let's make sure the VW loses based on price by adding features you can't even get in a Lexus!" The reviewer was too lazy to compare cars with the same features. If you load up a Toyota, you get a mid-range VW, but with less features and higher price. Hondas normally slot in between the other 2. When you factor in the greater accident survivability of a European vehicle, plus VW's higher re-sale (yes, VW beats even toyota on resale values) then the Tiguan is a no-brainer, but the reviewer also ignored those important features. Good information, but uneven comparison makes it lame overall.
