08 G35 Sedan Journey Premium pkg. Navigation pkg. Painted splash guards Cargo net Ivory w/stone interior 3% tax $599 doc fee Lake Norman Infiniti in Cornelius, NC $36,309 total out the door I got quotes from Infiniti dealers in NC and SC, then asked Lake Norman to beat the best one (which was from Bradshaw Infiniti in Greenville, SC). Lake Norman wouldn't beat it, but they matched it. And since they are local to me, I took the deal. Picking it up tonight after work.

Is there anything I need to know before I buy one?
biodiesel making waves in East Texas....
by larsb on Fri Dec 16 06:41:50 PST 2005
http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctimes/news/nation/13422298.htm In the far back office of the Carl's Corner truck stop on Interstate 35 East, Carl Cornelius sits at a desk, taking calls on a speaker phone and chain-smoking Pall Malls. "You gotta dream," insists Cornelius, who is lately dreaming of an entire town - his - built on the promise of, well, french fry grease. No, he's not fantasizing about a long strip of fast-food joints abutting the highway. Early this year, Carl's Corner became the center of the current hubbub surrounding biodiesel, an alternative vehicle fuel that can be made from vegetable oil, seed oil or animal fat, and can run diesel-powered vehicles. Biodiesel's champions, which include farmers and environmentalists, tout the fuel's benefits at every opportunity: Biodiesel is a renewable resource, homegrown in the United States and relatively clean-burning - everything its crude-oil counterpart is not, and part of the solution to America's reliance on foreign energy, they say. It helps to have friends in high places, and Cornelius has one of the loftiest: Willie Nelson. A champion of the American farmer, Nelson got into the biodiesel business last March, opening his first BioWillie fuel pump at Carl's Corner, about 45 minutes south of Fort Worth, Texas. The premiere of BioWillie has attracted celebrity-style attention to the fuel and the 65-year-old Cornelius.

Does this sound like the Transfer Case issue?
by bcantana on Fri Mar 04 20:14:19 PST 2005
Trying to avoid a "newbie" dupe post, I just went through every article in the archive. I have a 2004 AWD Pacifica. The symptoms are: When letting off the gas after a fairly normal acceleration, the transmission "clunks". It does it intermittantly, but enough to be noticable and annoying. Took it in for the problem once already and the dealer (Lake Norman Chrysler in Cornelius, NC) claims that the sound is normal and it is the torque converter. The car did not make this noise when new so I doubt it is normal. I have almost 20,000 miles and it started happening in the 12K to 14K range. At first I though the clunk might be tire noise (it is somewhat muffled) but after hearing it more it is definately coming from the drivetrain. I just want to get it fixed and any advice is appreicated. So far the transfer case issue seems closest. I do not think it is a bushing issue. TIA! -Ben
Need repair help in Charlotte, NC
by modendahl on Wed Jun 18 04:48:09 PDT 2003
I just moved to Charlotte (actually Cornelius), NC as my warranty on my 2000 Disco II ran out. The "Service Engine Light" just went on and the local dealer wants what I feel is a ridiculous rate to hook it up just to figure it out. Does anybody have any good, reputable shops specializing in Rovers that they can suggest?
