How about Al Gore a Nobel Laureate? The White House graciously applauded his prize. I say Yassar Arafat got the same prize. I lean toward this group. I doubt I can get close to Al Gore's "Carbon Footprint". At least there is a way we can all compete. On a Mission - Taking Away Al Gore's Carbon Credits... We are on a mission to take away every one of Al Gore's meaningless carbon credits by simply providing carbon debits. Help us make this dream a reality by purchasing one of the packages below. Getting a CNG

My advice is to SHOP. Find the dealers who have the GX, and shop them all. I hear the one in Antelope Valley is one of the most dedicated to having the GX's out there. I bought in Thousand Oaks and was not too happy in the long run with them. Kinda long story... Notes, If you have to pay the Alternative Minimum tax, you will not get the $4000 credit... The dealers that know the most about the benefits are a good place to start... If you are married, buy 2 used cars instead of 1 new one. The phill (or Fuel Maker 4) and everything else makes more sense if you go that way. CNGmotors.com usually has a good supply in stock. you can probably get 2 2003 or 2004 for the same price as 1 2007...
Thousand Oaks Honda

I bought my new Civic GX at the Thousand Oaks Honda. I love the car (as much as I can love a car), but I would not go back any time soon. I really needed a car and just wanted to buy one. I should have shopped around more. There is a guy who's posted here and on the yahoo CNG newsgroup who is from the Antelope Valley Honda and he seemed more willing to work on Price. The cars come up for sale on Ebay pretty regularly (there is a dealership somewhere in like Azusa that has them on occasion). Finally of course there is CNGmotors.com in Arizona. They charge a bit for shipping to So Cal, but their prices are about Blue Book for a gasoline fuel car. When I looked a few days ago, they had a few in stock along with the the FS2 (they discount additional fuel tanks and home fueling stations). I've also found a few on the other used car websites. used CNG cars seem to be getting harder to find.

This station was easy to find and I got a good fill, and it has a pressure gauge.
New CNG Station Opening

There will be a Grand Opening event for the new CNG Station opening in Palmdale, Ca on Wed, May 23rd at 11am. This is the first public CNG refueling station in the nation at a Honda dealership. Robertson's Palmdale Honda, in the High Desert, will host the event at the dealership. Free fuel will be dispenced to any CNG vehicle that attends and there will be give away items to commemorate the event. In attendance will be: SoCal Gas, NGV America, Gas Equipment Systems Inc, AQMD, Clean Energy, numerous NGV owners, Honda Corporate Alt Fuels Division, and more. We will have Los Angeles and local Press there to interview owners, so we hope to see you there. I've been working on this project for almost a year and a half and I'm really excited to bring this station to the public. Robertson's Honda is opening new frontiers and making news around the world. This will open the way to more dealerships offering this service to the public. I hope that, in spite of the mid week date, that some of you can break away from your busy lives and help us show the press that we are a group of people trying to make a difference in the world. The more exposure we get, the more people will want them, buy them, and therefore provide an economic basis for more stations. Thank God, you're OK! I'm sure you'll have a like-new car! Typically, they'll also have to repaint a good chunk of the vehicle, cuz the colors applied to the new parts, won't exactly match the colors on the other adjacent, unaffected panels. So, they'll have to paint the side panels, too. I'm not surprised that the Sentra was crippled...it's so much smaller than the CX-7. That's like an antelope buttin' heads with an elephant :P I know this will happen eventually, but CX-7 is going to butt heads with a larger vehicle (truck or SUV). I don't want to see any one hurt, but it'll be interesting to see how tuff the CX-7 really is. Once again, I'm glad you aren't hurt (bad case of rattled nerves, huh?) Vince.
