Re: Ok saw this yesterday. [snakeweasel]: by qbrozen on Tue Nov 18 09:10:37 PST 2008; I saw the opposite of this not long ago. Waiting at a light where there are 2 lanes going straight and 1 lane for left-turners in each direction. The left-turners on both sides get a green arrow while all other lanes have red. Green arrow lights and someone going straight in front of me takes off across the intersection. Luckily the left turner facing us hesitated. It is quite often someone in this situation takes their foot off the brake at the sight of the green arrow, only to realize their mistake and reapply the brake. This was the first time I saw someone not give it a second thought and just drive right through.

It's essentially an extension of the 5 year warranty, except I believe it covers a bit more. I know other Honda dealers are offering lifetime warranties too, but they may not necessarily be the same. Another area dealer offered a lifetime warranty that wasn't the same, required all work be completed at the dealership, including oil changes and come to find out, the dealership was just sold! I'm not sure if the link said it or I mentioned it, but this warranty is good at any dealership across the US. I think the hang up is needing all of your receipts and getting work completed on time. I look at it as though I paid an extra $1k for the warranty (since I had a price below 1k offered at another dealership). On the other hand, I've owned 2 Honda Civics with no major problems what-so-ever, so maybe I'm just a worry-wort.
