No, my uncle does not own the dealership! And no, I have not purchased any other BMW's from this dealership. I've purchased several others, including an 05 525i from another dealership, but this dealership in Pembroke Pines, FL, gave me what I wanted. I took deliver of the first 06 530i in the southeast, and it was definitely worth the wait. Performance and fuel economy excellent. I got 32.3 mpg on a 534 miles round trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando. That's about 2 mpg better than my 05 525i, which really surprised me, and I was averaging 80 mph each way. As for the purchase of the 06 530i, the general sales manager told me the reason he gave me a 1000 over invoice deal and 41K for my trade, was because he had a buyer for my 05 525i, at 3000 over what he gave me, so he had an immediate turn-around on the trade. I find that the southeast coast of Florida is the best place to get great deals on most luxury cars, Infiniti, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, etc., because the largest dealers in terms of new car sales can be found in the Broward/Dade County areas. JM Lexus (largest) Infiniti of Coconut Creek (largest) Vista BMW and Lauderdale Imports (largest) are just minutes from each other. Good luck!

Thanx for all the info. on the camper. Sounds like a pretty good set up. Since you've camped in colder weather, what do you use for bed cover? I hear the Trava - Sack works really well. Warm in the winter, & cool in the summer, but a bit pricey. It does eliminate a lot of blankets though. Easy to make the bed or throw together. How about you Vince, what do you use for bed cover? Mike, I saw a brief news clip tonight on a place called Hyder Alaska in Misty Fiords National Monument about people approaching the bears taking photos, & possibly getting injured. Absolutely beautiful country. Have you been there? What time of year do you go to DV? Where do you usually camp? We've been going there for MANY of years, & never get tired of it. A great winter retreat, especially when the cacti are in bloom. Fun place!! By the way, which way do you go to DV, or like best? When we lived in Tahoe, we would go 395 to Lone Pine, through the Panamints, Stove Pipe, & into Furnace Creek. On the way back, we hit 95,via Scotty's Castle to Tonapah, Fallon, Reno, & then home. A lot depends on the weather though.A nice drive no matter which way you go. Hwy. 95 is a bit boring though. Talk to you later. Gary-
