These were all variants of the BMC 1100/1300 range, (ADO 16), which pre-dated the Maxi, and was smaller. From the top.... Austin 1100 Mk III 1971/4 Morris 1300 Mk II 1967/71 Vanden Plas 1300 Mk II 1968/74 Riley - this one was a Riley Kestrel 1965/7 (but later it became Riley 1100 when they made the MkII, and there was also a Riley 1300 Kestrel 1967/8) MG 1300 MkII 1967/8 Wolseley 1300 Mk II 1968/73

The one at the top left is the Austin Maxi, the white one in the middle right is the Riley 1100. The car on the lower left is one we got in the USA, as the MG1100. The other three are Woolsleys, Lanchesters or something. All are variants of BMC's big FWD Maxi platform (mid 60s-mid 70s IIRC)

That's correct Magnette. Lost wrench is correct too, according to motorbase.com there are only a small # left. The owner of the pictured car says it is the car shown at the 1948 NY Auto Show. . The Sportsmobile used the engine and chassis of a contemporary Riley. I find it interesting that one of a handful of survivors lives in the US

Well, it is a Riley. It's either a Riley Kestrel 1300 Mk II, or a Riley 1300 Mk II, which was essentially the same car but with a few minor interior differences, but from this angle you can't distinguish one from the other. There was also a Kestrel 1100 Mk II, but that had finished by the time the G suffix would have been applied, while the Kestrel 1300 switched to the 1300 in Oct 1968, (G suffix started 1st August).

The Sunbeam is a tough one but I'll bet you can tell from this angle> The AC could be any of the derivatives of the Toijero Ace. :??: The red car is obviously pre-war, could be a Bentley, Lagonda, Aston, Riley or any number of things.

I don't know, but I'm in love with it. The nose kind of reminds me of the 50's vintage MG and Riley sedans, and the overall lines remind me of an MGA, except for the tall bonnet. Some sort of Bristol-engined special?
