Re: Need Advice on Pricing in DC area [pencils2]: by smackldog on Mon May 05 13:02:11 PDT 2008; pencils2 - FWIW, back in 12/28/07, Tim Pohanka of Pohanka Honda in Marlow Heights offered me $23,200 OTD for a 2WD CR-V EX, in the DC/VA/MD metro area. He had mistakenly thought that I was looking for a 2WD instead of 4WD EX even though all my emails clearly listed out that I was looking for a 4WD EX! :P Not sure if you're still in the market but here in the DC metro area, 2WD CR-V's are fairly uncommon since most of the ones sold are EX and EX-L's in 4WD configuration. Re: Test drove the EX-L V6 Coupe tonight [duke15]: by phantomv on Sun Feb 17 03:49:48 PST 2008; Duke - If you are in the DC area, check internet pricing for the car - Koons in Manassas, Hendrick in Woodbridge, and my personal friend, Tim Pohanka in Marlowe Heights, Md will all give you a GREAT deal - I had quotes on my '08 EXL V6 Sedan w/o nav of $25,950 including destination charge, door edge guards, wheel locks, wheel well trim. Be sure you deal with the Internet people only. Try the car with cruise control on at 60, etc.- and the vibration will vary - kind of like a "shudder" when you go out into the cold. It is not constant - only when it changes modes, but that too happens often enough to make it, on my car at least, annoying.

Landmark had quoted me an OTD price but the numbers weren't firm between the sales person and the sales manager, so be wary if you're planning on dealing with any of these dealers that they don't switch the numbers on you.
