I live in Miami too and I went to Prestige.I think you are getting a good deal. That make me think to go to that dealer instead of Prestige.whats the final price that you paid for that car? I really want the Premium Plus but with this economy I don't know what to do. Are you paying audi care? Regards,
my lease...

i went to the collection in coral gables and thought it woul be tough to negotiate a deal since the dealership is audi, masareti and lotus. they were friendly and i think they gave me a good deal jus wondering your thoughts.. 439 per month tax in 12K miles yr/ 42 months premium with ipod audio jack, and bluetooth 1,000 down they will make my last payment on my current 07' A4 they wanted me to take a car off the lot that day and put me in an A4 premium plus with the new headlights, basically fully loaded except nav, but living in miami the extra package includes heated seats and other options i prob dont need. this car would have been $513 tax in which was a good deal for a $38,000 car.. I was close but opted to stay within budget.. Any opinions would be appreciated..

Yes its a 2 wheel drive. It is a 4 cylinder. It's based on an invoice from the dealership (consumer sheet). The guy also added the extra value pkg #2 to it. We are located in Miami, FL.

As I will wait another year, I won`t close my eyes to a diesel, but twenty years after having one I remember the smell of the tiny bit on the hand after refilling....Jose gave a good description a few posts back, but I`l keep an open mind.. I might jump the gun as the economic downturn could produce a super buy in a slightly used Mercedes in my case, and I am really hoping that Mr. Mad will be able to get a 911 in his price range....Man to be young and have the Porsche would be something.to behold, as long as he didn`t get in a wreck....It is nice to read on this board that most people who have been here a while, are enjoying their new cars, and giving hope to those that are thinking of getting a new car that the most expensive car is not the only game in town...Tony

Hi Dewey The older Mercedes were quite plush in an elegant sort of way...I don`t care for too much chrome, but back then even with the large amounts of chrome, the cars looked good, and carried the chrome well.....I remember one moder, a convertable that a friend of mine owned, had leather on the inside of the glove box....It was a very expensive car in it`s day.... I as you am interested in the hy-brid, but when I really though about it, most of the miles I put on a car are interstate roads....so comfort is important to me....I get around twenty five -six mpg, and my wife twenty nine on her bmw 5...I drive a bit faster than her, her engine is the streight six with 255hpor 265 I don`t remember, but her mpg is accurate, so I don`t really understand why the 1 series is as Tagman says ( not doubting him), and Howard if you read this, didn`t you want a car that your bike could fit in? If so, you needed the 3 to be big :) Tony
Re: All weather or winter tires for Mazda MPV? [sramamur1]
by ruking1 on Mon Nov 17 12:24:07 PST 2008
What are your conditions? (I have lived in snow ice and rain (upstate NY). Traveled extensively in NE during the winter. Iived in snow, ice, rain, altitude (CO), tropics (Miami, Fl, rains, storms, shines, several times a day) and CA where in a lot of places it very rarely rains to snow , ice, etc. I hear good to GREAT things about the Nokian's line, but their short life (and probably fuel mpg loss) are issues to me. Also since I very rarely do much time in either snow/ice nor rain, most of the running would be done in so called "normal" conditions. So I would tend to lean toward snows for winter and normal all seasons tires for the rest. Nokians seem to offer a 2 in one gig (close to dedicated snows to all seasons) but like I said ,short life is probably the premium/penalty and is a deal breaker issue (for my .02 cents) Fact is if you keep under 55 mph you can drive in snow, ice, rain, with nary an issue, IF you are ok with driving like you are on egg shells.
