09 Avant Premium Plus
by ahdanna on Mon Nov 17 16:07:10 PST 2008
Hi - can someone give me the latest MF and residual for the A4 Avant Premium Plus 2.0 Quattro, 3 years, 36K. I was told 56% / .00192 for Oct and now being quoted 54% / .00212 for Nov. Given the economy I can't see how both the residual and MF would have gotten worse. Thanks! AD

Here you go, AD. BMW Financial Services; November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 328xi Coupe with 12,000 miles per year are .00175 and 61%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of an Audi A4 Avant Premium Plus through Audi Financial Services are .00202 and 54%. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of an Infiniti G37 Coupe AWD through Infiniti Financial Services are .00279 and 60%. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Re: Audi vs. BMW 5 Series?? [gardis]

The 2009 A6 3.0 supercharged looks to be Audi's first serious 5 Series competitor since the A6 2.7T. Definitely worth a look. It offers the best execution of Audi's current interior design (does not count the A8), and the refreshed rear is a huge improvement: The A6 is one of the more reliable cars in this class, attaining Consumer Reports' coveted "circle and check" IIRC. If you get it with the sport suspension the right might be a little harsh, but the improvement in handling more than makes up for it. With the new 3.0S engine it also gives you great MPG. I'm still interested in the new A6 Avant, because it's going to be standard with that engine and Quattro. '08 BMW X5 4.8i • '06 Audi A3 2.0T DSG • '05 Audi S4 Cabriolet

Hi AD, The quote was from Biener Audi‎ (Great Neck, NY). The car was a 09 Avant w/ Prem+ pkg. The lease terms were 36 mon w/ 15K miles/yr. The sales guy was using the Oct finance program. $700 over invoice with ~$1400 out-of-pocket and $595 a month which included 7% NJ tax. Since then I've checked with other dealers around Philly area and they are getting desparate to make a deal. I get a call every day to come in and make deal. I'm sure by Dec, I can easily get at invoice along with other credits Audi is now offering.

I think the author is not very familiar with Audi S cars as the usual comments on when will they make a rear drive(where ya been since 1980 duh ! quattros win.) and it still understeers and the best one implying until now the line has been uninspiring. The 92-96 S cars with the inline 5 and single turbo may still be one the most over built dependable cars on the road, you can tweak it to over 500 hp with no driveline stress or keep it factory and run for a few hundred thousand k. I've got 190k on my 01 S4 Avant with minor maintenance which is still not cheap, but it gets the exact same mpg as it did with 15k on it. That version{really an RS4}won Speedvision(before sell out}GT twice running against porsches, vettes, bimmers and such no Acuras(see copy German technology at a discount price} in the crowd(they actually run in the Touring class see Mazda competitor}. S cars are made to be a rapid form of luxury transport in all-weather situations period. Bottom line the Audi S4 will allow you to compromise less features than most sporting sedans pushing the envelope for competitiors to build better cars , so no matter which brand we favor improving the breed benefits everyone. I applaud the use of a supercharger as the twin turbo version on mine averages 21-22 mpg and the V-8 version while sounding great was very thirsty. Sorry for the rant, drive one thru a storm, or over your favorite early Sunday backroad you'll understand my passion.

Depends where you are located, but seems kind of high. Should be able to get them now at invoice or few hundred over. In NY/NJ area, I got quote for A4 Avant with Prem+, 36mon and 15K mi for $595 including 7% NJ tax. Up front fees ~$1200 (1pymt, reg/title, doc fees). I believe the new plan for November, Audi pays the 1st pymt, so upfront should be ~$600.
