Hesitation at slow speed
by hemisgo on Fri Nov 14 00:04:28 PST 2008
Well, I also had that hesitation problem a few times. Once, it almost caused a problem when it happened as I was pulling into traffic, luckily nobody hit me. Took it to the dealer & they replaced a faulty electronic shifter switch. Seems it was sending a false signal to the tranny. No problems after that. The dealer was aware of the problem from their service bulletins. Also had a metal spike in my L/R tire, it had to be replaced ($362). The dealer was unaware about the "Road Hazard" policy on the RUNFLAT tires. After a call to "GoodYear" in Akron they notified the dealer to fill out the pro-rating papers which were sent to the dealer. There should be some money returned to me, because I had only 9,000 mi. on the tire.

Well they didn't build those plants in Dayton, Cincy, Cleveland, Akron, thus they might as well built em' in the south because only ignorant people like "Joe the unlicensed plumber" would work at one of those mind control, sweat shops !!! ;) -Rocky
CR-V from Mike Pruitt Honda
by pgarrick on Thu Oct 09 14:51:51 PDT 2008
I recently purchased a remaining 2008 CR-V LX 2WD at Mike Pruitt Honda in Akron, Ohio for the dealer invoice price of $19,927 plus the Ohio document fee of $250, sales tax and $25.50 for titling. The lady who is the Internet Manager there was wonderful and up front with everything There are also two men on the Internet team and I got to meet them both. She was thorough and held nothing back. I had another offer for $50 better than this from another dealer who offered to beat her pricing. I like her style with "cut to the chase" pricing and I felt I owed her my loyalty. The entire experience, from initial email to meeting to vehicle delivery was great. Sometimes I think the we get carried away with pinching out the absolute best price - superior customer service wins my business any day! I highly recommend them!
Re: Interior Trim & saw one today

I also think that wood warms the interior. I've never seen anything listed on the Acura website. Today, a local mall (south of Akron) had cars from a few dealerships in the mall. The Acura dealer had the TSX, MDX and TL there. I thought the TL really looked good in person. My daughter also really liked it. It was grigio which looks really good on the car. Had a black interior and the central console seemed to have a corrugated wood cover. The car is huge! The shear size of it makes the big nose and back fit well in proportion but it is a big car now. Kind of like a Lexus GS350 size. Not sporty looking at all. I liked the TL but looking at the TSX, with its size, gas mileage and features, I know I could be happy with that. My dealer gave me a new TSX for a loaner and I really like the way it drives. I think someone has to see this new TL in person to decide if it is ugly or not.
Mileage

Another loop test. Did a dealer trade between akron and cincinatti today (about 250 miles each way). Mileage averaging 68 mph was 33.1 EPA be damned.

Hi, the deal was great, beat Ganley in Akron by a lot. The only money down was the first month's payment and a $750 but the dealer rebated the $750. The lease is $485 plus tax and is 39 months with 15k per year. Mercedes of North Olmsted was top notch, best experience very. Quality people. I guess that's why they are being allowed to build a brand new state of the art dealership. Not only was I surprised at the monthly payment on the lease, I was even more surprised they gave me so much for my Audi A6 trade.
