Code 154: by topcat01 on Fri Mar 03 16:23:33 PST 2006; I have a 1990 740GLE Volvo with 143K on the odometer. Since 2003 I have changed the EGR valve once and, EGR Vacuum Control solenoid three times. My check engine light is on now and still displaying the same old code of 154. My mechanic is questioning if my EGR temp sensor is bad or the ECU. Please share any knowledge on correcting this problem before it drives me over the edge. tc

One evening, so the story goes, a Yankee couple were touring the cemetery at dusk when a pair of docents approached them from behind to tell them that the cemetery was closing at sunset. Scared the heck out of them. Seems the docents were in antebellum costume - she was in Scarlett O'hara skirts and her beau in a Johnny Reb outfit. I suspect that the same story floats around Gettysburg and Sharpsburg.... Steve, Host

feel like i got taken,now: by hjr2 on Fri Jan 11 20:38:00 PST 2002; we got our 1999 GLS-V6, everything minus ABS for alittle under $18,000. If we had driven another 75 miles, we could have had same deal for $17,299, or saved 400 dollars more. As it was, we did get an ok deal, why? 1) the salesman actually called Hatfield(our other guy who we were dealing with) and found out he existed, not a lie made up. 2) The guy also was on his 2nd to last day as a saleman(anywhere), so he figured $200 on the car was better than us leaving and him getting nothing at all(it was closing time,plus Hatfield deal was better anyways, so they had little room to manuever). Now, Hara Arena Dodge/Imports(Dayton) on shiloh springs road, has a "life of original ownership" free oil changes for buying a Hyundai there. Still, if i can sav $500 at another place, i can afford to pay for oil changes at Walmart 4x per year=$50 per year, and still save cash by not driving 40 miles to Hara for the "free "oil changes.

dindak-names: by hardhawk on Wed Nov 21 16:51:16 PST 2001; I cannot remember all the names. Some were Berkshire, LaJolla, Cascade, Shiloh, Arroyo,Rezendavous Sport, Rezendavous AT, and another Rezendavous something. Some pretty bizzare names if you ask me. Of those listed, I liked Cascade the best.
