Re: Steering 'feel'? [xmech]

We have an 09 Sonata Ltd 4cyl and while it definitely does not have a lot of "feedback" in the steering, it still goes where it is steered. It's my wife's car and she has no problems with it. I drive it rarely but when I do, it is fine by me. ;)

We purchased an 09 Sonata Ltd 4cyl this summer. It's my wife's car and she drives it daily. I get to drive it occasionally. We live in south-central PA and our roads have to rank up there with some of the worst you will find (potholes, frost heaves, uneven surfaces, etc, etc). As far as my wife and I are concerned this Sonata drives fine, rides smooth, and is very much worth it. We bought it out of state (Fairfax Hyundai) and the trip home returned almost 32 MPG before it was even broken in. As far as now, we are in the low 20's since my wife's drive to work is only a few miles and her other driving is to her mother's and the shopping centers about 10 miles one way in mixed mode traffic. Overall, we are satisfied. ;)

Have you checked out any of the online distributors, like www.tirerack.com or www.discounttire.com? I just did a quick check at tire rack and came up with a tire and wheel combo for a little over $800. It's worth a look see.
