Thanks for the advice, I didn't plan on getting quotes till I'm ready to buy anyways, to let them know I'm serious. I am working with a dealership now that is in the process of finding a car that I want and will contact me when it's in. They have been nothing but friendly and helpful to me, even though I told them it will be a few weeks at least before I'm ready to purchase. BTW the dealership is Nourse Automall of Chillicothe, great people, really nice to work with, and have given other family members great deals on their cars. Again, thank you to all of you who have posted as it has made me a smarter buyer!

I'm with you all the way. My father assembles Kenworth tractor trailers here in Chillicothe, Ohio for $26.67 an hour. One of the best-paying factory jobs around. Let's get rid of it! Hell Yeah, dump it all, send it to China. Let the Japanese engineer it, since they're so DAMN SUPERIOR to anything American, and the Chinese can build them for about $2.00 an hour. Look at the savings there! Yes, it would eliminate my dad's job, along with another 1,200 jobs in an already job-hungry area of Ohio, but it would mean we could get our shit for cheap! And we all know that's all Americans care about, right?!! It P!$$*$ me off SO BAD to hear people complain about prices and how much cheaper foreign made products are. What the heck happened to patriotism?!! What happened to national pride?!! They were replaced, by the almighty dollar. You're right, Stuckinohio, things would be cheaper for us if it were all foreign, but it would screw out a ton of Americans of jobs. Here in Chillicothe, we have a paper plant that employs 1/5 of the county. They are now having to compete with a paper plant in China with a machine that can produce 3 TIMES as much paper in a day than they can. Where does that leave Chillicothe in the price advantage? They have none now, thanks to our desire to become one world, which is the worst idea ever!! I had a relative that worked at an RCA plant in Circleville that was shut down but not demolished, but disassembled and reassembled in INDIA!! To make the SAME DAMN THING they made in Circleville! Why? Because it's cheaper in India. I want all industry back in the States, and goodbye cheap foreign $#!t!! It may be more expensive, but it would be worth it to bring back AMERICAN INDUSTRY!! GO USA!!

You're correct.... These are much closer. I checked with a couple (not Lexington, Charleston, I'll give them a call), they don't want to offer less than $500 below MSRP:( I'll check Chillicothe. Thanks,

What about Lexington? Charleston? There is even a Toyota dealer in Chillicothe... (I bought my CR-V at their Honda dealership). I think you can expand your search area without driving 8 hours...

Sorry i haven't responded sooner. I did change the thermostat, an $8.50 part. It made all the difference in the world :shades: . Thank God it was not the transmission. It did the trick. I took it out for a drive to Chillicothe (about 12 miles from my house, 4 lane highway, 60 mph). My torque converter kicked in and the rpms dropped from 2700 to about 2350. It was a miracle! :) i was used to it running about 2800 rpm @ 60 mph that it was kind of relaxing to finally hear the engine calm down. Thank you so much for all of your guys help. ;) Without this site, i would have never known anything was wrong. Also another good highlight, my avg. fuel econ. has increased by about 10%! :shades:
