Oh, they took me to the hospital (Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD), so I did get checked out. I'm a little sore this morning, but nothing major. The WRX protected me really well. Now the fun starts—dealing with insurance, getting a car rental, plus somehow I lost my glasses. I'm using an old pair right now, so I have to get a new pair. Bob
Selling that Jag
by ateixeira on Tue Sep 23 11:24:10 PDT 2008
I thought about this for a while...you may want to list it for sale in upscale neighborhoods, where buyers tend to be more image-conscious, and therefore willing to pay a premium for the Jaguar name. Here in the DC area, that would include Bethesda, MD, and McLean, VA, for instance. But if the car is in FL on the gulf coast, it's probably not worth the effort to ship it up here. Just advertise in upscale areas in FL. Just a thought. Target the marketing in local publications in those areas.

Real Life Deal on E350
by jpdc on Wed Jun 25 14:33:28 PDT 2008
After going back and forth for a month between the E350 4Matic and the Audi A6, I just pulled the trigger on a 33 month lease for the Mercedes. The lease was nearly $200/month cheaper, primarily because the residual on the Mercedes was 9% better. FWIW, here are the details. E350 4Matic Black paint Black Interior Sports Package Premium 1 Burl walnut iPod MSRP -- $56,410 Invoice -- $52,552 Cap Cost -- $49,660 Monthly payment -- $591.92 ($538.11 + $53.81 use tax) 33 months MF -- .00030 RV -- 58% Inception Costs -- $407.97 (1st month + license fee + doc fee - $500 dealer credit) I know I probably left a few bucks on the table, but not much. Hope this helps. Also, if you're in the Washington, DC area, I recommend Euro Motorcars in Bethesda. Very professional. Contact me off line for the name of a salesman.

need help with financing
by artu on Tue May 27 07:26:27 PDT 2008
What APR can I expect to pay on a 60 month loan from AHFC applying through a Bethesda Maryland dealer with a 690 beacon credit score? There are some financing incentives from Honda like 2.9 finacing The finance person says Honda determines your tier (preferred or super for example) and also the APR Is that accurate? I find it confusing-some previously posted messages talk about 690 and up while others use 720 as a cut off point. Could someone help me out with this so I can make an informed decision? How do I know if 3.9 is what I qualify for? I intend to put maybe $1000 down I guess shop around for financing before closing the deal just like I did for selling price Any ideas? Plesase share Thank you
