SX4 Oil Change In Worcester, MA
by gemini6toad on Thu Jun 21 06:24:24 PDT 2007
Jiffy Lube, Valvoline, and other such garages don't seem to have the abilty to change the oil on my new SX4. It's not in their computers. I've called some local garages and they can't do it either. Does anyone know of any service shop in Worcester, MA that can change my oil? The dealer is quite a drive which I'd like to avoid. Thanks, Gordon
SX4 iPod Adaptor
by gemini6toad on Fri Jun 15 08:35:01 PDT 2007
Hi all, Here's a heads up on the iPod adaptor. Once installed, a cord sits in the glove compartment, you plug in your ipod and shut the door. Title, Artist, and Album info appear on the stereo display, which is cool beans. You can move forward and back through tracks, set the Repeat modes and set to Random. Once it starts, it automatically sets your iPod to Repeat All. The system works with the CD Changer mode, so it starts playing 'CD 1' which is your entire ipod collection. You have to make playlists on your ipod (they must be named 'clarion1, clarion2 etc through clarion5 on your ipod) controlled by 'CDs 1-5'. For example, to play playlist clarion1, you must select CD 2. The sound quality is fantastic, and for that alone, it's worth getting if you're using an ipod device that broadcasts the signal over the radio airwaves. You can't scroll through your artists to find a particular album or song; you have to set your playlists beforehand and change them periodically to access something specific. That is annoying and later models might be better. If you use your ipod a lot, I would suggest getting the adaptor.

Here's a link to my SX4 Pics page. I'm driving from San Diego to LA tonight, so I'll really be able to open it up on the freeway and get full use of my iPod connector. http://public.fotki.com/gemini6toad/random/2007-suzuki-sx4/

Nissan Sentra 2001 GXE
by shutts on Sat Sep 09 15:05:01 PDT 2006
Has any one had any problem with the first three fan speeds. I have only one speed working and it is the very high speed. The first 3 speeds just stopped working about 2 weeks ago. Why?? Someone said it was just a resistor, but I don't know where it is and how to replace it. Since I bought this car all my problems have been electrical. ist it was the horn, next it was the power windows and now it is the fan speed. Any help or suggestions?
1997 Chrysler Concorde_AC performance poor
by jcm61 on Thu Aug 03 14:46:51 PDT 2006
I purchased my 1997 Chrysler Concorde LX new and have since logged 163k miles on it. In May of '05' I had the original freon (re charged)replaced. The AC worked fine all through last summer. This year, however, the AC has been far less effective and does not deliver cool air the way it used to. Does anyone have any first hand experience to share about this model's AC performance, specifically, regarding susceptibility to (freon)leaks in AC lines, compressor problems, etc? I appreciate your comments.
