Does anyone know where the speed sensor is in a XG300.

Do you mean the Hyundai XG300 and XG350? If so, try posting in the discussion at that link. The XG platform was shared by the Amanti, so you may want to check in Kia Amanti 2006 and earlier too. Or maybe you have a Hyundai Sonata? Too many models out there! :confuse:

I got Drive today as well and found that rationale for the concept name unusual to say the least. Elsewhere in the issue is another installment of the history of SoA. It amused me to learn that one of SoA's earliest celebrity spokespersons was actress Ruth Gordon of "Harold and Maude" fame. I was around for that campaign but I couldn't recall it. Were there others besides the current Lance Armstrong, Paul Hogan, Judge Reinhold, Martina Navratilova, Juli Inkster, Meg Mallon, and Diann Roffe-Steinrotter? Ed
EX for 27,899 in MI

Thanks to everyone for all your postings that have helped me learn what is a reasonable purchase price and where. I just bought a Sage Brush/Fern EX off the lot with no extras for $27,899 ($29,635 out the the door with 6% Tax, Canadian Transit fees, etc.) and it was a very pleasant experience. I live in Vermont where prices on Pilots are high and availability is scarce, but before leaving on a visit I decided to check out dealers on the internet in the Detroit MI area and it was well worth it since even after haggling back and forth in Vermont the best price I could get was 2% below MSRP AND I would have had to wait a month or two to take delivery. I worked with Jason at La Fontaine Honda in Inkster, MI (near Detroit) and got exactly what I wanted with no hassle and no gimmicks. I probably could have worked an even better deal somewhere else with more time, but I had done a lot of research and looking for the past two months and I was ready to buy and La Fontaine worked well with me and all the extras required to get the car through Canada and back to Vermont.

juice: We are of a like mind on the Forester Recce model. SoA has begun running a new Forester ad campaign featuring Martina as well as a female pro snowboarder and female pro mountain biker (a/o/t the LPGA's Juli Inkster and the other woman whose name slips my mind) in the last week. It has aired on HGTV, ESPN (maybe ESPN2?) and our local ABC affiliate. The Prodrive Forester is pretty subtle. I haven't seen any pix of it on the web so I may have to scan one in from a brochure. Rallispec is three guys (at least 2 of whom are engineers) working from a garage with an attached office in Cherry Hill. I visited them in the spring to get an idea of feasibility and cost of fabricating a stainless catback exhaust for the Forester. They have since done one for an '01 S+ for a guy out in California. He posts on the i-club frquently and has posted pix of the setup. Very high quality job and another tempting mod if it weren't (wasn't?) so loud. One of the engineers fired up his RS to give me a live sound clip and the burble and backfire was a bit much for me - I don't think it'd sit well with the constabulary in my conservative bedroom community. I'd definitely have to get it with a resonator. Ed PS: Just a reminder - I go to Jeep 101 tomorrow and will report here first.
