I understand the batteries will be about 1/3rd of the cost of the VOLT. I am sure the electric drive motor will come from China. Does not leave many crumbs for the UAW to munch on. C300 lease quote

Quoted for lease on a C300 with automatic transmission, metallic paint, Premium I, ipod integration kit & 6 disc cd. MSRP around $36k. Deal was $469 inc. tax on 39 month lease with $1500 total drive off. I dont know every detail on the deal as I just glanced at the printed offer as I was walking out on them but selling price was in the $32,000s (ie below invoice). Don't know how many miles per year. I currently have a benz, not sure if there is extra incentive for some sort of loyalty program or not. Seems like a pretty aggressive deal but I didnt go there to buy today as I'm not sure if the C300 is my final choice, just wanted to know how much it would lease for to compare it to my other options. Just thought I'd post this up here for an FYI and also to see what the opinions are of this particular deal. This was at Keyes on Van Nuys, Los Angeles area, through their internet/fleet manager. They had over 40 C class in stock, I guess they just got a shipment a couple of weeks ago.

Now that's a reasonable price. I had a dealer ask me to make a reasonable offer on a 09 TL TECH and that is the exact price I offered. If they said yes I was going to buy it. But they came back somewhere around 37,600. Going to wait and see. I still get emails from them asking if I had reconsidered. In Maryland, so no chance of going to your dealer.

:D Okay, I got one; another one that is. I am set to return 2006 Z4 3.0i in 3 weeks, so I went out today and got my new one 2008 Z4 3.0si. I would've gone for the "M" but I drive in too much stop and go So Calif traffic to contend with the manual transmission. This has been a great car for those of you who are wondering. 2009 Acura TL Purchase Acura of Thousand Oaks

Just took deliverie of my 2009 Acura TL Tech in Silver! Purchased from Acura of Thousand Oaks in Southern California. Did my internet emailing and found them willing to work out a price even thou they would not do it via email I talked to there General Sales Manager JC and he met my numbers. I paid 36500.00 plus tax ttl and doc. I got the pro pack and emergency kit thrown in for that. They are a new dealer and looking to build a client base (at least thats what he said) They were easy to do business with and no games to be played. I would recomment to friends or family. Jeff

"Hyundai moved nearly 1200 Genesi in October" Where oh where? I live in a large auto market (So CA) and drive Ventura, LA and Orange counties weekly. I have not seen one Genesis on the road. The only Genesis I have actually seen, (6) were at the Thousand Oaks dealer that performs service on my Azera.
