Purchased 2009 Acura TSX w/o Navigation for $27900 + TTL

Hello All, I purchased 2009 Acura TSX w/o Navigation for my wife yesterday. I have requested quotes using Edmunds from several near-by dealer (in Central Flroida) and accepted an offer from Courtesy Acura, Sanford (Orlando). I negotiated the final deal over phone and picked up the car. The buying experience was very good and I dealt with Glen Clarke (Internet Sales Manager). I would recommend Courtesy Acura. However, I strongly recommend everyone to finalize the deal via phone/email before entring the dealership. Purchase details: MSRP = $29,720 Invoice = $27,381 Selling Price = $27,300 Dealer Fee = $600 Net price before TTL = 27900 (i.e., ~$500 above invoice) I think I could have save a couple of hundred dollars if I spent more time bargaining, but I was happy with the deal. BTW, I made my own arrangements for financing and I did NOT trade-in a car. Also, I did NOT get any other accessories. Lastly, I really appreciate the useful comments from several members of this forum that enable me to estimate a decent buying price for this car. :)

Picked up Slate Green with Olive EX-L with RES and NAV from Sanford Honda last night. OTD was $30,285 with no accessories. When I got there the van actually has Mud guard and wheels locks, listed at the insanely over-inflated prices of $199 (mud guards) and $129 (locks) on the sticker. They just left them on.

This site was very helpful to me so I thought I would let you know the deal I got at David Maus Toyota in Sanford, FL. (Just north of Orlando) 2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited Paid $43,750 out the door. No trade. Options: Leather; floor mats; Moonroof; navigation; rear backup camera/sonar; roof rack; automatic trunk; running boards; electric rear fold down seats; center DVD; rear spoiler; captain chairs second row. Lots of other little stuff that is either standard or small options on the Limited. I think I covered the biggies. Hope this helps someone.

I just bought a 2008 Eos for 412$ a month on a 3 year lease. I have had it 12 days and it started leaking today when I took it out in a rain storm. I am sooo... disappointed. I bought the car in Orlando close to Sanford, Florida. It had about 60 miles on it. I wonder if someone else brought it back to the VW dealership before. How did they keep it outside with the roof leaking on both sides for almost a year? I wish I could just switch it for another EOS that doesn't leak. I am not sure what my rights are in this area from a legal perspective. They want to seal the front on both sides in the morning at the dealership. I hate to pay so much money for a car that isn't perfect. I wish I knew that EOS cars leak. I just googled my problem and found this site today. Does anyone know if you can insist on another car due to the fact that it has flaws? Thank you for your help.

Bought a 2008 EX-L w/ RES tonight. Sent e-mails to 20 dealers in NC (greensboro area, raleigh area, charlotte area, and eastern, nc) and Richmond, VA area on Sunday. Had a good quote from both Leith Honda and Sanford Honda. E-mailed Bob Barbour Honda to see if he would beat it. I walked out the door with $29,793 and the 2.9% rate. Bob Barbour Honda also includes a lifetime powertrain warranty that covers the same components of the 5/60,000 honda powertrain warranty. The price was a $100 less than Leith Honda and about $300 more than Sanford Honda. I felt the extra warranty was worth the extra $300 and I didn't have to make the 90 minute drive to Sanford Honda. e-mail me and I will send you the salesmen's name and e-mail.
