Honda is taking advantage of America's ignorant putdown of them and is getting a foothold in the market. Does Honda even have a jet in service yet? Plus I think they're built in North Carolina and Honda Aircraft headquarters is in the Greensboro area.

Lease rates for 2012 Ford Focus SE Hatchback by howowc on Tue Jan 10 07:52:45 PST 2012

Hey there! I'm interested in finding out Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback SE with 12,000 miles per year. I hope to get a manual with the 203A package, if that makes a difference, and I'm located in Greensboro, NC. Thanks so much!

2011 MDX Base Model - Raleigh, NC by ncbuckeye on Tue Aug 23 05:55:53 PDT 2011

This forum was helpful for getting general pricing info, but no posts for North Carolina! So- here's what played out for 2011 MDX Base Model in the Cary/Raleigh Area: Leith Acura of Fayetteville - 1 car in stock, 42500 out the door (Tax is 7%) Leith Acura of Cary Auto Park - No cars in stock, 43540 out the door (Tax is 6.75%)- He said he was waiving transfer fees. Hendrick Performance Acura of Chapel Hill - No cars in stock- didn't even bother asking about price Crown Acura of Greensboro - never got a call back. We ended up taking 42500 OTD - With 885 destination and 7% tax, I think this works out to about 38,810 for the car. Black with parchment interior- picking it up tonight. We are also doing the 1.9% financing for 48m. Hope this info is helpful for some- would be interested if others in the area are getting same deals.

2010 Corolla MPG by jimwwhite on Thu Aug 11 04:57:49 PDT 2011

I drive 60 miles each way to and from work every day in my 2010 Corolla LE and I've been getting 40.4 mpg all summer long. Of the 60 miles each way, 48 miles is on I-40 between Statesville and Greensboro, NC. The other 12 miles are back roads and city streets with little or no traffic stops. The speed limit on I-40 is 70 mph and I drive it normally at 65 mph. During the colder months it drops down to around 38 mpg with the winter gasoline. I love this car! And I just can't understand why anyone has a problem with the EPS steering. They say you can't feel the road but I really think someone just has to have something to bitch about. If you want great mpg and don't want to put out an extra $8K for a Prius, get yourself a Corolla. Great car!!! :D
