Saw and touchec the 09 Max

The dealership in my area (Jackson Heights, NY) had the 09 Maxima on display for 4 hours last Thursday June 10, 2008.It was a silver with Tan leather interior. The liquid motion paint was not as fascinating as it looks in photographs.It's a muscular looking car. Inside the hood is very compact.The front and back lights are unique. The leather in the interior is soft touch and everything was neatly made. The trunk is very small. There was no power in the car so i could not turn the engine or listen to the Bose sterio. All in all a beautiful car and I believe I will purchase one if it but I still have to drive one first.The dealer said they expect a couple of them around June 28, 2008.

Yes, Marco, I was very happy with Koeppel Nissan in Jackson Heights. The Deep Sapphire is beautiful. Very sparkly. I contacted quite a few dealers, only Koeppel gave me straight, clean answers. Everyone else wanted to play games. I don't believe in badmouthing businesses--I just take my dollars to those who treat me right. Koeppel treated me very nicely.

I bought my 2009 Murano SL last week--I'm also on Long Island. Checked out all the dealers here and got lots of runaround--trying to get prices over the internet was a pain. I ended up buying from Koeppel Nissan in Jackson Heights, Queens. They were absolutely great--got exactly the car I wanted. Great service, great price, absolutely no BS or stress. It was the easiest deal of my life--and I love the car. I'm sure they've got the S model--if not, tell them what you want and see what they can do. My car-- 2009 Murano SL, AWD Deep Sapphire, black interior Leather Tech Premium Roof rails Flaps Tonneau cover Mats It is an absolute joy to drive.

Lexus announces the Taste of Lexus "Evening Edition" for one night only in each of the following locations: Chicago (Arlington Park), NY (Jackson, NJ), and Miami (Miami Gardens). This Taste "lite" has been created in recognition of performance enthusiasts, and will focus all test drives exclusively on a short performance course, normally reserved for the IS and GS only. The IS F will also be showcased, with demonstration runs on a dynomometer available. My adoration really multiplied when in June of '93 the Supra Turbo was unleashed. I'd never seen anything like it. I had a Toyota dealership less than a mile away from my Jackson Heights apt. I would walk the dog by the Supra in the showroom nightly. Power and beauty LOL Been there. Drove a cab based out of Jackson Heights.

Believe me! :( My adoration really multiplied when in June of '93 the Supra Turbo was unleashed. I'd never seen anything like it. I had a Toyota dealership less than a mile away from my Jackson Heights apt. I would walk the dog by the Supra in the showroom nightly. Power and beauty. Apparently, the critics agreed, and all who sampled it fell under it's spell. :) But, as the Celica All-Trac and MR2 Turbo underscored, people don't got to Toyota to buy sports cars. Increasingly stringent emissions tests, a saturated market, an recently redesigned national icon, a hollow link to the short-lived fame of the '67 Toyota 2000GT, and a particularly low ROI caused the legend that was Supra to end it's stay with us, at least, in the real world. The legend has lived on in the virtual gaming world, as it is a popular vehicle for virtual racers. Strangely, Toyota started investing, heavily, in another low ROI endeavor, one that was SURE to lose money, the 1998 Prius in Japan. With Synergy Drive now in it's 4th generation, Toyota is finally starting to see the fruits of it's labor. They took a step back to take two forward. Coincidentally, the 4th generation (MKIV) Supra was the last Supra, and maybe considered the best sports car of the 90's. It will produce nothing but daisies. :cry: Toyota will leave the niches to the niche automakers. They can make the best sports car, this side of a Ferrari, but the market would reject it. :lemon: Sometimes being the best isn't good enough. DrFill
