by bitterwater on Thu Dec 01 18:50:42 PST 2005
Since I have purchased my envoy, i have been having problems with my battery going dead. While it was still under warranty, i had the battery replaced and linkage on the shifter changed out. Technicans supposely said that was the culprit. Now that i have no warranty, i still have the problem, and have just been getting the vehicle battery jumped. does anyone have any ideas? or has anyone have the same problem?
Update on V710 Class Action
by rennybosch on Sat Feb 26 12:18:59 PST 2005
Kirtland and Packard, the firm that is pursuing the class action against Verizon because of the disabled BlueTooth functionality in their Motorola V710 phones, have filed a demand for a national arbitration with Verizon Wireless regarding the Bluetooth issues. You can read a copy of the Arbitration agreement at their website www.kirtlandpackard.com/v710
Verizon V710 Class Action update
by rennybosch on Fri Jan 28 20:31:17 PST 2005
Kirtland and Packard have added a page on their class action lawsuit to their website, at:   http://www.kirtlandpackard.com/v710   It also contains an input form on which you can describe your own experiences and complaints.   I hate lawsuits but in this case I'm hoping it may do us some good.
More on class action suit against Verizon
by rennybosch on Thu Jan 20 19:02:08 PST 2005
As kmll indicated in post #6865, a class action lawsuit has been filed in California against Verizon in connection with missing Bluetooth functionality on the Motorola V710. The action was filed by Kirtland & Packard, and I sent them an email asking about it. They sent me back an email saying they have had so much interest in the suit that they have decided to construct a page on their law firm website (www.kirtlandpackard.com) to provide the public more information about this action. This will include a copy of the complaint filed with the court, as well as a questionnaire about our experience with the Verizon v710. They encourage people both within and outside the state of California to respond.   The lead attorney is Laura Digirolamo <lmd@KirtlandPackard.com>. You can email her to get on a list to receive an email with the web link when it is ready.
