'07 328i: Impossible highway numbers?: by dmaccioc on Sun Nov 16 08:48:03 PST 2008; I have an '07 328i, auto, non-Sport. I live in the SF Bay Area and usually sit in a bunch of traffic, so I normally only average about 21-22mpg. When my parents were visiting in September, they took my car down toward LA for an overnight stay. They got 36.8mpg on the way down!!! I did the math, and it's true. My dad said they filled up, got directly on the highway, set cruise at 70, and didn't hit any traffic. On the way back, they got 32mpg - I think partially because my mom drove for an hour and she didn't use cruise control. Last week I had to go up to Sacramento for work (105 miles each way) and averaged 33mpg, setting cruise at 75 at some points. Very happy with the fuel economy! Is there any particular reason why my car gets such good numbers?

Official unveiling November 19, 2008: by raychuang00 on Sat Nov 15 08:55:45 PST 2008; Nissan will unveil the third-generation Nissan Cube at the Los Angeles Auto Show this coming Wednesday (11/19/2008). From the spy pictures I've seen, the new Cube will be a tad less "squarish" than the current JDM model (probably due to the need to meet NHTSA safety standards), but will be roomier than the current model, too. Because it's built on the same platform as the Nissan Versa, expect Nissan to offer the same 1.8-liter I-4 engine with either five-speed manual or CVT automatic like the Versa offers.

I noticed that my local Mini dealerships have been starting calling me (like twice per week) to push me coming in their shop to place a new Mini order. May I ask you how much is the discount you got off the MSRP ? And what is the name of the Sacramento Mini dealership that you ordered from ? ( is it the Niello Mini dealer ?).
