After weeks of calling and e-mailing, I only find two dealers in LA area are selling at MSRP. They are Metro Honda at Montclair (800-649-2277 ext 6120, Yvonne Mason) and Gardena Honda (800-883-3330 ext 247, Alan Luz). There are a waiting listing from both dealer. Two dealers are selling at $500 above MSRP are Goudy at Alhambra (800-423-1114, Terry) and Nelson Honda at El Monte (800-660-3464, Amy Chung). At Goudy, Terry told me (early December) that I would able to get my van at mid January with the color MB. I placed a refundable deposit with Nelson. Amy told me I have to wait at least until after February for delivering my van. Other dealers are asking $1000 or more above MSRP. Although Norm Reeves is a huge dealer, they are asking at least $2000 above MSRP with some dealer added option. The sales person even tried to ripe me off by saying floor mat in the EX is a dealer added option. Luck I did my research, I pointed out in the Honda's brochure floor mat is inclued in the price. I just walked away from this dealer. Two weeks ago, I picked up my Odyssey from Pasadena Honda (800-20-HONDA, Perry) with $500 above MSRP. Perry was asking for $1000 above but I shown him the receipt of deposit from Nelson $500 above MSRP which I was willing to pay. I also told him Goudy could delivery my van at mid January at $500 above. I could wait three more weeks for it. He finally agreed to $500 above MSRP. When I asked for the Honda Care Warrenty, he was selling at $1600. After I shown him the print out from the web: http://www.1netweb.com/checklist.htm at the price of $895, he agreed to match the price. I like to thank shaganast for preparing the list and place in the web so everybody can download it. Happy about paying $500 above MSRP for the van just two weeks for waiting ???? (At least my wife will not on my back) Do your homework or your will be riped off by the "shark" dealer.
