Poland used to be a big destination for US retirees but I haven't much about it lately. Hard to beat San Miguel de Allende although all the US residents there have caused the property values to go through the roof. Colonial hill town with a great climate not near the coast. While you go check it out we'll take a vacation in here too, at least until crude pops $175. :shades:

where else would you want to live! I have a list about a block long (Manhattan, St. John's, London, Paris, Prague, San Miguel de Allende, maybe a summer in Reykjavik). Maybe if a few of y'all sent your pensions my way, I could afford some of those spots for a year or two at a time! Steve, Host

I believe you are right, Prius NIMH batteries are the least problematic of all the batteries in use. I just read this interesting review concerning poor mileage on a new Prius. It looks like short trips to the grocery store will yield very poor mileage: MSNBC; Miguel Llanos, writes: Frustrated, I sought answers from Toyota and its Prius guru, Dave Hermance. As soon as I said that my commute and other city driving were short trips, Hermance interrupted. “That’s it right there, that’s the problem,” he said, explaining that mileage suffers during the first five minutes of a cold start because of the way the Prius and similar low-polluting cars curb emissions. That would also explain that while my combined city/highway mileage was 42 mpg, I got just 31 mpg on my five-mile commute to work. It sounds to me like a person that travels 30 miles each way to work could gain some benefit from a hybrid, while the housewife taking the kids to school and trips to the store would get relatively poor mileage (31 mpg).
You all have been busy....

Gone for a couple of days and I have to spend 45 minutes reading posts... I am about to get my windows tinted..here in Atlanta they want around $300 for tint. I've had my last few cars tinted in Clearwater, FL for $110 w/ lifetime warranty. Me thinks me will be taking a drive to Florida soon. The name of the place is Pelican and they did an awesome job on my 99 Accord. Just can't justify paying $300... the guy at the place here said that the titanium tint used at the other place was out-dated and would discolor. I had the 99 Accord for 2 years and there was no discoloration or bubbles in the tint, so for the $200 difference I will take my chances and enjoy the drive. As far as California goes..I went to a wedding in San Miguel..not sure if you are familar with that. It's about 150 miles or so south of San Fran I think. I enjoyed being in California but in San Fran a 1 bedroom shack/cottage was over $200,000. It's not worth it to me. I will stay in GA..pay lower gas prices, lower mortgage (WAY LOWER), and not have to worry about eartquakes. However, I will take every opportunity to visit Cali.

I think you just proved the point. Your use of Z5 didn't do much without first applying Z3. Again, Sal knows best and I'm no expert. But since Z3 was developed for those older non-clear coat paints, I would think that it should be used as the base Zaino coat. Also, although Z5 might help for some of those old swirl marks, many of them may now be embedded far down in the base paint. For those types of swirls, only an abrasive polish will remove them. Hey, don't feel so bad, I just created a bunch of swirls trying to dust the pollen dust off my car. I think my towel was less than clean. Ah, San Miguel! When I was stationed in the Philippines, we drank it all the time. Local people would even put ice in it without killing the flavor. But the stuff sold here is just not the same.
