Mack, and Joel you guys are correct :D So many times you'll get someone from not around here and say " hey were going to the Packy " And they are like " What's that? " Happy Birthday Mack!!! I can get you a " Dealer Rebate on Beautiful new Altima ;) Dang Joel you really surprised me by knowing that answer. :surprise: Right now I have 4 bottles of booze for Christmas gifts from other sales people. Jose Cuervo, Jack Daniels, Malibu Rum, and a bottle of Grey Goose. That may be a sign that people think I am a alchoholic. Anyway Good Cheers!! GP

When Cuervo prices go up, we've gotta take some serious action. :D
1862… I mean 1989… I mean… 1984 all over again?

I think the LS hybrid could be priced anywhere from $85-125k considering what it brings to the table and depending on Lexus’ marketing strategy. No doubt, this is a leading edge car that comes from methodical hands. What I want to know more about is the market demand. Hybrids are virtually nowhere except for Prius. Accord failed and the others are languishing. Do you hear the song that hpowders keeps singing? It seems to the voice of the market. The majority do not want hybrids right now. Hybrid is synonymous with fuel economy and clean air, not performance. No one has to convince me of Toyota’s accomplishments but the public isn’t buying it yet. I wonder why—price. Toyota/Lexus was about bargains. It ain’t the case anymore with hybrid, and there’s no denying this. Even if the LS600 sells 10K off the bat, regardless of whether it is priced at $75K or $150K, it won’t mean squat to the masses. The Camry hybrid is showing good performance/fuel economy numbers but is not in the economic range for buyer desire. Camry will be a telltale and if it can’t emulate the come-hither appeal of Prius, the hybrid market is going to move at a glacial pace. You know how the cost of memory and storage came down? Well, damn it, when is going to happen? It’s been 9 years since Prius hit the market. Don’t mind me. NYIAS is Cinco de Mayo. Just gimee a shot of Cuervo and get on with the lilt of that Lexican Hat Dance. I know a good party when it’s happening. ;-)
Clean hands?

even if I was drunk I cannot come to that conclusion... Mmm, counselor, allow me to introduce you to my turbulent friend, Jose Cuervo and his refreshingly less-than-demure niece, Margarita. Their Northern compadres, Mr. Daniels and the Walker brothers will be along shortly to mellow things out. :shades: With enough of their help, you can reach any conclusion you may care to. (and several you'd rather avoid...) :shades: Still, ya gotta admit a profession that came up with the doctrine of "clean hands" (Har har har, tell me another) can't help but encourage folks to think "I cut corners, you cut corners... Hey, everybody's gotta do it, so why you comin' afta me?" -Greg, professional Devil's advocate. The pay's great but the checks always bounce. Hmm. Maybe I can make it up on volume...
