A good dealer for a change
by pewterman on Sat Mar 03 19:44:15 PST 2001
Good evening, all. After reading some recent postings about lousy dealers, I thought I might pass along some info on a good experience I had. If anyone in northwest New Jersey is considering a Hyundai purchase, I would like to recommend Towne Hyundai, in Denville. My salesman, Ed Bosques, gave me good service and SEVERAL followup calls to see how I liked the car. I just had my 3k service and the Asst. Service Manager, John Ronnholm, couldn't have been nicer. He also gave me a followup call to see how the service turned out. I had one small defect on the car: a distorted driver's mirror. No questions! The part was ordered and arrived in just 2 days! I've even had good reports on their mechanics from other people. This is a surprisingly pleasant change from my previous experiences with other car makers (particularly the corporate end of the experiences). After I purchased their cars, they didn't want to know I existed. I have friends who've purchased Mercedes' who haven't received this much attention (and my Elantra is QUIETER than some of those Mercedes!)! I REALLY like this car and I think my purchase has put me in the company of some very intelligent people! I even picked up some extra brochures at the dealership and have been handing them out to my neighbors. Is that going overboard?

Have you tried Gilman Mitsu in Schertz, Tx. just down the road a little off I-35 near San Antonio, and these guys were great to deal with. I only dealt with the Mitsu sales manager named Mario Del Bosque. I got an ES V6 for 2% over invoice. Started out at 5% over invoice but I refused to pay more than 2%. Anyway I had a great buying experience from this dealer. Service, well let's just say that's another story.
Farm Bureau

Carl5, Yea, The Farm Bureau is a hellava deal, just so happened I learned of this while ordering, just a day after I signed final papers on acerage in Bosque County. The land can be pretty tricky especially when damp (not wet, we're in a drought)...wonder how the anti-spin axel will work...H'mm maybe a few more rocks or cedar trees in the bed well help when the going gets rough. Anybody have any comments on the anti-spin? cowtownkid
